Goods games, that Librarian was a hero. He saved about 3 times his points cost whith shield and ran off more than his poinst cost with fear. Sorry about the second list, it was a little cheesy, but it was the first 1000 point one I came across. (For everone else it ended up being DE vs 3 razorbacks and 3 Vindicatos at 1000 points, not a pretty match up)

OH, and by the way... I posted on the 'you make da call' with respect to 'immobilized vehicles being able to contest objectives'. The responses have seemingly confirmed my stand on the issue. Essentially, there is no exact rule that says immobilized vehicles can or cannot contest. However, the rules do state that 'any unit' can contest, which therefore includes vehicles. Given that there is no rule that then denies that permission to contest if the vehicle is immobilized, an immobilized vehicle CAN contest.

"There isn't a rule saying immobilized vehicles can't contest, therefore they can - because all units can"

Apparently there was a denial of such an action in the 4 ed rules, but no such denial exists in the 5th ed rules.

And I already beat ya to the punch, and once again an earlier edition weeds its way back into 5th edition rules. Sometimes i think it would be better if i hadn't of played 2/3/4 editions because of the amount of times i've had to look up a rule that i thought was true and couldn't find any mention of is getting rediculous . Can only imagine how 6th edition will be for everyone when it comes out lol.

Yeah... and my thread got LOCKED OUT because of Rythem! He he... I looked at some replies and then saw it was locked and was referred to another link, only to find that the one who opened the other link was Rythem. Anyway, at least this has cleared up some confusion. So Immobilized vehicles CAN contest! Yippee!!! I love when my cardboard boxes are targeted in the last turn while they sit on an objective, and the damage roll results in an 'immobilized'... That still Contests baby! Even my upside down piece of terrain proxy for a venom could have contested... oh wait... it wasn't actually immobilized was it Kungfu? We just forgot that it was an actual venom and it didn't move all game! he he

Hi, I'm a fantasy player in Toronto who has recently gotten back into the hobby. I've gotten a few relatively random games in (@GW, Yonge and Lawrence), but would like to get something a bit more regular going. I have two decently sized armies: Tomb kings and Brettonnia.

Hi Tomb-inator, not too many of us playing fantasy right now, but talk to CGB Spender, he has a fantasy army and I think he started a thread in the Find a Game forum for Toronto Fantasy as well.

"We" didn't forget it was a venom, You did. I just assumed all the terrain on the table was actually terrain, and since the 'rock' didn't move or shoot for turns 2-5 I had no reason to suspect it was really an expertly hidden skimmer. Although next time, if it happens again, if you put an infantry model on the rock, instead of a pile of dice, I can garuntee I'll notice it and remind you to use it.

I'll bring the Wracks with me, the Incubi are assembled and base coated, but I'm in the middle of shading/highlighting their armor, so not 100% if I can have them for Sunday.

Do you need any of the models you gave me for the tournament?

I am not sure yet about what I may or may not need. Actually, I probably need the beasts more than anything else, because at least I have make-shift models for wracks and incubi. Have the beasts been started at all? No rush... I can do without it all for the tourney...just curious. I may field some wracks and/or incubi. I can't be too specific or else my competitors will know how to prepare for my pain bringing... he he... okay... so maybe noone is too worried about me... except Necrons!! he he

I'll put the beasts together for you for Sunday and bring the Wracks fully painted.
