True enough. It did have a few ten-thousands pledged. BTP wasn't a flat-liner like 20th Century @ War (which I admit I "backed" for 15 dollars just so I could ask a question).

Too bad we didn't have a stretch goal for 235k, cause we passed it pretty quickly, like within the past 25 minutes.

13k to go, it might come down to the wire, especially depending on how many people are inclined to drop to a 125 tier if we hit (or it looks like we'll hit) the Hanging Tree in those tiers as well. Well, versus how many 0-60's bounce up to 125+ for the same reason.

Could become a real yo-yo around 249/251 if we get in that range.

Yeah, I think Mack is firing up another ustream around 5:30 EST. If that's been pushed towards 3PST that's 6EST, which means it'd start a little more than an hour before the close.

I agree that it'd be nice to see more Wyrd Official folks in the threads.

Stranger yet that this thread is fairly hopping, but the one on the Wyrd forums themselves has been pretty much silent today. Last post was, like, an hour ago.

I mean, I could change that myself, yes, but I mean actual chatter, not just spam for the sake of saying something.

Well that's us absolutely nothing.....the secretive part is killing them.

Yeah, the ambiguity means not being able to make an informed decision. I am less than pleased with this outcome, it's not like we haven't been talking about it being an issue for the last couple of days.

Makes the difference between the tiers "$100-111 for an extra set of books, a deck, the doll, and ??????".

I'm having a hard time assigning value to ??????.

It's not like we've talked about a LOT of issues surrounding this KS, Forar. I'm honestly suprised we've hit $240,000. I'm just wondering if this "suprise" is enough to warrant people bumping up to the $225 pledge level.

No argument there.

Just surprised that nobody officially brought it up as needing a contingency. It's been mentioned on the KS comment page, here, and the Wyrd forums alike. Surely someone thought to ponder it aloud in a meeting.

Like, it's easy to be all cynical, "look at how this was run, of course that's the case lawl", but it just seems like something really obvious to figure out. It's a reasonable thing to ponder, and asking 450'ish people to go on blind faith is... well, I guess a step too far for me.

Nothing new Breotan. Just playing a trivia game.

Also, the more I think about it, the less impressed I am that they couldn't be bothered to have Justin do a running tally. The whole point is to let people know whether or not they would be getting a Santana or not at the Core tier. To do otherwise, once again, expects people to back on faith.

Obviously, they can just fudge it and end up at that case, but if there's even a hint of that, why not just say "yeah, we got there" and at least drag some people on the sidelines in, unless they're concerned some people would drop from the 125 tier (which is the same "how many new/up vs down" issue going on with the tree).

That said, 40 min, 8k to go, the gaming room "bonus" may be a moot point.

I wonder if they're busy phoning the henchmen they know got trees to see if they can buy them back to give out again

(and prevent them having to do a 2nd production run)

It has been a hell of a rally, but it's looking like we'll fall just short of 250k.

20 min left, $6,800 away. Short of, like, a burst of 50+ people.

I'm officially out at the last minute. After KD:M and with so much appealing about Rivet Wars now, with Wrath of kings to come, I'd rather wait. Enjoy y'all!!
