Came across this fantastic concept Dreamforge has and would like to know when they will be available and to encourage them to make more of these daemons!

Pretty sure that was the KS exclusive Shadokesh figure. He plans to expand that faction more in the future.

But that figure was limited run afaik

Shadokesh are going to be the next faction to get a KS, but that won't be until after all 3 waves of the first have been delivered on.

Having said that, I would also expect Feral Shadowkesh and handlers to be in that KS, just not the same models as the KS exclusives already sent out. Quite possibly the Ferals and the handlers will be sepperate models, not connected.

I am also wondering what the Shadokesh 'big and heavy' model will be, does anyone know if it's supposed to be a tank or a leviathan type of thing? (My connection is not as good as it could be and I've been having real trouble getting online the last few days.)

Makes you wonder what on earth the shadokesh have... Especially if the Eisenkarn need titans with scythes and laser swords to defeat it.

I dont believe its been mentioned actually. I know Im curious as well, as no doubt others are. We have actually seen/heard little about the Shadokesh...maybe some more info and/or some renders of thier equipment might be in order...

It's okay, calm your anguish. There's LOADS more Shadokesh to come in the future, and almost certainly the feature army of the next KS. In the meantime, if you REALLY want that mini, I'm sure one can be found somewhere, at reasonable prices.

Mark, stated in the fluff that the leviathans are based off captured shadokesh tech so one might assume its some sort off walker.

Shadowkesh are going to be a loooong way off if you consider that Mark's a one-man operation and the glacial rate at which wave 2 is coming along....

Yeah, Wave 2 is only about 4 months late by now....And hasn't shipped yet....Makes me sad since I want my baby leviathans!

For truth. I know the product will be worth it when it gets here so I'm not particularly upset (I have MORE than enough to keep me occupied just from DFG, never mind the existing collection), but it does make one hungry for news. I might not need them to be here anytime soon, but I want them still...

Could wave 2 being late also have to do with WGF being busy? Ofcourse I have nothing but conjecture but it seems quite a few Malifaux plastics seem to be in short supply as well and they are also from WGF l iirc. Ofcourse, pure conjecture on my part without any substantial base and all but I just thought of that. Whatever the reason is, I am not to fussed abouyt the delay, I have yet to glue and paint my Leviathans so there's enough to keep me busy in the meantime

And to mjl7atlas, if it weren't for the fact that you are on the other side of the pond I'd be willing to part with one or 2 of my shadokesh handlers since I have no use for them but I think that the postage would be a bit prohibitive :(

Mark has said on the KS comments about a month ago that there have been production issues unrelated to the DFG project that impacted the timeline, but he was not a liberty to discuss it further. So it's not completely conjecture...

Well on one of the podcast I listen too one of Wyrds staff let slip that WGF has stuffed up the Mei Feng model from the rail crew box sets the made for the gencon release



the scales it to 28mm including the pile of rails so giving a very mini mei feng are necessitating a do over

(what I'm not sure is how many of these duff box sets they made before the error was noticed, was it only a few for show & tell at gencon or had they done a full run)

Well I for one want more Feral Shadowkesh and other "not daemons" That fire elemental emberling from malifaux is sweet

When were the Eiesenkern Heavy Infantry supposed to hit? Was it wave 2 or 3? I think out of everything, they're the ones I'm waiting for the most.

Wave 3 for them. Wave 2 is the Mortis, 28mm arms and the 15mm Crusaders.

Aw really? Looks like I'll be waiting a while to get them then. Was it supposed to be five to a box or ten like the rifle team? I'm thinking they might actually be a cheaper alternative Space Marine PA army.

The CC and special weapons guys were 5 to a box but the regulars came in a 10 man squad I think.

The CC and heavy were 5, but the regular box was 20.

Yes, the more I look at it, the less I'm going to "chaos" up my mini-mortis' and just use them as Dreadknights, and the 20 Valkirs and 10 Assault Heavies as GK... termies or PA, not too sure, it'll depend on the scale.

I hope my FLGS orders a few of the mini-crusaders though... they might not because, after all, they sell well.

Yep this seems more fitting. They're a ruthless, self centered bunch bunch although iirc they have a pretty strong caste system that ensures some loyalty to each other. Don't think we know much about how they fight though?

Actually his fluff is a lot more collective mind then caste system.
The Eisenkern learn to fight them by ignoring their war machines and inflicting mass casualties, thus forcing them into a rapid mindset change, often resulting in a rout as the collective mind reevaluates.

I cant wait for them suckers too. If they come around xmas, Ill be swiming in models between DFG and deadzone kickstarters. It will be a very merry xmas this year indeed.

Damn, I wish this thread would stop getting bumped. I keep hoping there may be some word on Wave 2. Looks like W2 is slipping towards Q3 if we're lucky, and W4 towards 2014...

Whilst I agree for the standard Shadokesh, the ferals (in model at least) seem more fitting as a "Not Daemon" in my mind. Having said that, I don't feel like sullying any of my DFG models on a GW table or in a GW game - possibly due to my feeling that they ought to automatically take a "Best Army" prize at any tournament they got into.
