August 10, 2019 to October ?, 2020 isnt' within 1 year.
No new Codexes till October, then Marines, Necrons and 4 Chapter-supplements for Marines means that the rumours of an accelerated release schedule seem to be wrong.
They seem to pay for their tight planning in Corona times.

Automatically Appended Next Post: Anyone who thinks its strange that both Codexes only come out in October, Age of Sigmar players have also waited for the release of their 2 new Armies since months so that has to come soon too

I see, doing a new Codex within a year would have been to much for the crowed, but now evewrything is fine and no one will be uspet about it but happy because GW is so generous to give us a new Codex in Orktober
Harry, bring this ring to Narnia or the Sith will take the Enterprise
There appears to be some new terrain pictured on page 264 of the rulebook. A ruined Ad mech building similar to the bits we've already seen with the red door, and what might be a new crater.

Names are:
Gladiator Valiant – a short-ranged armour hunter that uses twin las-talons and multi-meltas
Gladiator Reaper – this tank is the ultimate infantry-killer, using tempest bolters and a twin heavy onslaught gatling cannon
Gladiator Lancer – an anti-tank sniper that’s ideal for chewing through your opponents’ most durable war machines and monsters

The issue with the repulsor was always the horrendous clutter visually, and from a rules perspective that it tried to do too many things turning it into an ungodly brick of points.
So from what I am reading, DA, BA, SW, and DW 'get' to buy a new core book and a new supplement? Marines paying in money what they don't pay in points?
Has anyone got screenshots of the rules shown as the pages were fanned through?
Also, october feels so so long for a book after launch.
And that new gladiator is nice because it uses the impulsor STC- so much nicer than the impulsor imo.
