Not where I should be

Thanks Doc.

Need advise.

What else? feel like I am gettting there now, but not sure, do I add "stuff"? Camo netting, oil drums, stowage. I feel I want to, but this is a terminator tank, not a mobile home like a Leman Russ.
Also what's missing?

And finally what shall I put in the front alcove? Bit of artwork? Sculpture?

All your thoughts on this are gratefully recieved. And please don't be afraid to say "You did that wrong!" Like I know the tracks are too wide.

So here is where it is at...

Oh yeah, I tried a bit of dusty rubbish up the sides, thoughts on that too please.

Mostly, on my phone.

It's looking really good. I think what it needs is some of the frippery and baroque details: scrollwork, purity seals, honour badges, kill markings, admech badge etc. That would nail it, methinks.

Nice job mate. You're doing solid work with that camo. I can't think of anything to add but you could break up the larger flats with some details I guess?

That looks fantastic, and I agree with inmygravenimage, scrollwork and purity seals will really help I think.

Thank you guys,

Seals and some stuff incoming.

This morning, been touching up my Mantis Warrior entry, the standard of work others are doing is amazing, and I don't really stand a chance now so decided to cheat!...

Other shots spoilered to avoid boring you.
Spoiler:

From the last lot, I have addd several coats of yellow to try and shade the green, Can see it in person better. Touched up my silly little slips, and the cheating part, put some purple on him, which Gits is adding to some of his models so I have stolen it.

Well thats it for now, feel free to critique, and a vote or two on these images would be very nice.

He's a wee stunner and that base is awesome! The purple was a great idea, certainly not cheating.

Might be late to the party, but since it is 40k and all I think you need some Imperial Eagles and skulls, can't get enough of them skulls.

And if you are marking it as an Ultramarine you really can't go past the first company badge and a few first company symbols.

See My Crazy Army plan here: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/0/521618.page#5517409

Good finishing touches to your mantis. Like the little mantis on the knee.

For the tank, study the official model to see what comes attached and what people stick on.

The edges and ridges could do with a little more contrast. A lighter edge highlight on the upper edges (not all) and some dark wash along the recesses (or black-lining but maybe not quite so dark as black). Almost anywhere the angle of the surface changes. Just to bring out the edges some more... but not too much... just a touch...

I see imperial eagles and then cool hammers. The stuff in the middle the material/glare is hiding details from me. Stowage?

Looking good at any rate

Ahh yeah that's a lot clearer. So a drape/massive purity seal, fancy hammers, looks like headlights lifted from imperial vehicles, aquilas, and chains. Fancy. The detail on the chains came through really well.

I am liking the tank, it needs a marine with a sword of course

My only gripe is that the doors are in front of the guns.

Not where I should be

Thank you guys, really appreciate the feed back.

@ Jehan-reznor , you are so right. I did kinda notice it after blindly following all these silly pictures on GW, and in books. But as it is card superglued on I can not remove it to put it in the right spot. I am however completely with you, it is one of my biggest gripes about the set up they tend to use, shooting your own men on the way out the door is typical.

Have to put that right with the next few.

But for now finiching touches, and a bit of painting and this is done, onto other things.

Got the walls to finish but I am trying to relax and not rush them. Fancy knocking up some silly scatter terrain. Still got a house to finish. Working on a Warlord for my orks (other thread), Think I might also start putting together a few gun units for these tanks and see if I cant mold them, they are easy enough to make but time consuming. Do a few and Knock up some predators, oh that reminds me, going to buy some of OneManNoodles rhino kits the end of the month.
Infinity is on back burner as can't bloody buy the stuff for love nor money here.

Oh and did think I want to do the Termy squad for the LR kinda finish it off, was thinking Hammers and shields and truescaling termies. But I am working from AoBR marines, so that could be a challenge.

Right onwards see you soon, if I am not here check out my oither ORK blog in sig.....

Final shots (cross fingers) of Land raider. Afraid Not sure on scale, but here you go...

Thoughts appreciated.

Not really bothered if scale is off it looks about right to me, since I don't game it is fine, could claim it's truescale I suppose.

These are votable and would be appreciated.
