Excellent work on the scenery . Those kits are so detailed. Can't wait to get my hands on some.

They are VERY detailed. Like the White Dwarf team, building their giant offshore oil rig last month, a LOT of these will be showing up just generically drybrushed without picking out the cables and pipes within the structures. I can see why one would do that, it takes a LOT of work, but it's totally worth the extra time and effort IMHO.

Cool project. Looking forward to seeing more.

Yes! I have no idea why the autonomous servitor-operated cargo-handling system needs an ancient-design tool box full of tools designed for human hands, but the bits will certainly be coveted by many modelers

Because ....reasons no real good reason except they knew what human tools look like. Plus it makes me want to build angry marines even more so they can be used as close combat weapons

Thanks Doc! I Actually look forward to painting them a little bit most every night, and that little bit just makes me want to paint longer on my days off. That's some motivation I haven't had in the hobby for some time.

GW of course...In the Grim Darkness of the Far Future...there is only self-drying GW Paint Pots, and they are expensive, so that's why they get mad when someone ruins their paint job

Lovely yellow . In the middle pic, there's a huge brown patch on the bottom rim. Have you considered metal showing trough there, as if the paint had been chipped away?

Thanks Khaine, I'm thinking the paint was scraped off a long time ago, so that scrape is now well rusted. If you look at pictures of real old industrial stuff, it never has a boltgun metal scrape unless it's a fresh scratch. There is much still to do yet. This chipping effect was the result of hours of color experiments that all failed until I got this result.

Looks good and worn to me Dave. Just missing a little bird nest built on it somewhere .
