Giving Bolt Action a go for the first time ever in a Very British Civil War game down at the club tonight. I have played Warlords of Erehwon before so I should get a hold of the mechanics quickly enough!

Working through my terrain projects, now on the Sigmar Chapel I have. Just have to finish the base coat before I can hit it with my home made terrain wash. Then probably manage to finish it the last drybrush.

Finally got myself to finish my Morghul knights:



Dug out a Phobos Librarian and Captain and will be painting them up. Loving contrast, but there's a definite learning curve when using it on white primer.

Packed up and shipped a large lot of WFB painting figures.

Continuing with the painting of my GSC. Working on some Neophyte Hybrids and the Gunslinger today.

Been working through contrasting Blood Reavers (they’re very good for it), and dry brushed 15 Blue Horrors so my wife can paint the details on them. Honestly, painting time has dwindled, so contrast is a lifesaver for the rank and file goons. No contrast on the big boys like Greater Daemons and Archaon, but rank and file...oh yeah.

Going to start building my entry for this month's unofficial Monthly Painting Challenge.

Still painting 15mm late medieval knights and mounted crossbowmen for my Holy Roman Empire.

I'm trying to figure out how to make a tea kettle into an objective.

After doing almost no painting all week, I am back with clean up, wash and basing my new Chaos Space Marines. Pretty slow going as I am only getting about 2 models done a day.



I still got a long conga line of models to go too.

Did some more terrain scratch building.

Started assembling some light storm troopers (think 1st(or was it 2nd?) edition) anyways guys with berets and light armour. Waiting on the bergens. Also painting/priming a heap of cars and a wheeled chimera.

Let loose on GW with the credit card, I'll probably regret that once my orders disappear into the warehouse of Locked Down madness that is Italy right now.

Started work sculpting up some spare guard parts, fun but the proportions keep throwing me.

Also started thinking about terrain. Having external insulation put on the house right now so I've got enough spare polystyrene to kit out several tournies! I'll keep some, but need to think about what do do with it.

Finishing off a handful of things for Batman (Bruce Wayne, Commissioner Gordon and 2 Lex Luthors) so I have a couple more or less completed factions, finishing off my Chimera for Warcry and starting on the last 3 members of my Blood Bowl team

Finished off the mounted crossbows and a third of my late medieval knights, 12 done, 24 to go. I don't actually need all of them to play a game, but they'll give me a variety of weapons and horse armour. The armoured horses and lances done so far.

I think I will spend some time on the Mantic dwarfs I got in a trade first though.

Continued to put more effort into basing than the miniature

I started painting Orcs last week and now I caught a bug. I keep painting Orcs.

I figure I'll ride this wave until I'm bored and want to paint something else.

Trying to find motivation for my R&H army. but sofar nothing.
Drought so to speak.

Next up is a quick conversion job for some Grot hybrids, then onto the Primaris Libarian.

Played a narrative game today, now painting more GSC since the narrative continues.

Finished another Death Guard Plague Marine squad. Working on a Drone.

Thanks. I think I need to make the weapons dirtier and more corroded, less shiny at a future point. For now, they’re good enough to play with while I continue to work.
