So, I just found out that Yamada-Kun and the Seven Witches is being made into and an anime, and I remember liking it when I read the manga, so I'll probably be checking that out today

That's really good to hear- not only because it means that Monty's legacy will continue (and a fun, quirky, original series will continue), but also because continuing in the face of tragedy is really... professional of them. I think maybe before, from how the shows felt, and how they talked about production, that they might have felt it was more of a 'professional hobby' than a real business- not saying they did, just that that's the vibe I got off them. With this sort of 'redistribution' of responsibility, it feels like they're thinking strategically, and in terms of who's best at what jobs, rather than just who wants to do what.

I saw a couple more episodes of 'arslan seki'. Apparently Pars is about to be invaded and sacked i think. This should suck but it'll be the main character's job to come back from this. It sucks that he looks like such an iffeminate pansy. Maybe i'm being unfair though since he did ok in some fights.

I can't even hate Tanikaze for being a Mary-Sue because he's just a fantastic! The way he just stood there and did that last stand, damn, I was on the edge of my seat!

I don't like Nendos, but I would buy that in a heart beat.
Edit: picked up Samurai Flamenco, and holy fething gak has this been a fantastic show. Action, drama, likable characters! The animation is top notch, the OP and ED are good (though the ED isn't to my liking).
I suggest everyone who hasn't, go watch this and go into it without ANY prior knowledge of the series.

I'm in the middle of episode 9 atm, it's gotten weird, but in a good way.

The crazy train goes off the rails at some point, and then keeps jumping tracks... kind of like that one donkey kong level in the mines. Or maybe there were a few of those.. but like that, all over the place. Much escalation. Many crazy. The end too kind of threw me. I don't regret watching it though.
Watching some show called Nana on netflix. I thought it was only 12 episodes or so for some reason, but i looked ahead and its more like 47. Seems like a drama/slice of life I guess, the characters are kind of interesting to watch though I dunno if I like all of them. Gonna stick it out till I find something else or I finish it, I guess.

I JUST started re-watching Kill la Kill again last night (for the second time). It is amazing how much subtext there is in the conversation of the Big Five of Honnōji Academy regarding Matoi Ryūko, letting us know they aren't really the bad guys.
And... Have you ever wondered what kind of life Ira Gamagōri and Mako Mankanshōku have after they are married?

No idea what you're talking about unfortunately, but I do not believe that happens. I mean the MC is the MC, I think some side characters may or may not get shuffled around but otherwise.. Oh and it gets dark at some point, in addition to everything else. Just stick it out to say you did if nothing else

I'm currently not planning on dropping this show, just the sudden escalation caught me off guard. Also the spoiler is what I was talking about... Started reading a series called Fuuka... it gets sad about half way through the currently available chapters...
Edit: To those of you that were/are fans of Testament of Sister New-Devil, the OVA is out, saw it on one of the streaming sites tonight.
