Awesome Ones, we owe you some explanations. I know that you see no activity on proceeding your pledges recently, and that could be disturbing. So, that`s how thing going now:
- we have most miniatures and magnets for all purchased pledges in our possession right now;
- the plan is to start to pack `em and sending out after 15th of the March, 2022;
- yes, we are located in Russia, and with all current political turmoil some complications with logistics are possible, but as for now our mail system working and we always have DHL Express option (they not delivering TO Russia at the moment, but FROM works just fine) as a backup plan;
- our friends and colleagues from Signum Games, who helped as A LOT with this project managing are Ukranians, and some of them, unfortunately, are in combat zones right now. Every day we hope and pray for them. If you are able, please, send your support to the guys, it means a lot to them and to us. And they are also running campaign right now - yes, right fragging now! - so you can support `em by funding too.
I received an order from Artel yesterday. It was shipped on 8 April by Russian Post. It took 10 days in transit including customs on both ends. I was unable to track it using the Russian Post website, but I did get detailed tracking info using a website called parcelsapp.com. This order was placed after the war started, but before they were cut off by PayPal.
Just got a package from Artel after they had been cut off by Paypal and using the artist patronage site that they are currently using. Site worked fine (and haven't seen any weirdness on any of my accounts, nor have I been sanctioned with the oligarchs) and the package arrived very quickly (about 14 days--which has been quick for Russia to me) and everything was perfect except one very fragile bit which will glue back together for me to break it myself).
FWIW, it was two sets of their own Deffkopta version, which is just amazing and incredibly modular. I had to have two sets just to field at least most of the options in one kit!

I have since placed another order to try out this patronage site. How long did it take to get the email with the link to donate?

I did it late one night, and the email was there the next morning, so...fairly quickly?
Awesome news, folks!
Today we’d love to thank you for staying with us in these tough and troubling times. It was your support that has been giving us strength all along. It took months and a lot of effort, and - yes, we managed to get back to somewhat normal!
We are happy to let you know that our webstore works as it should again. We can collect PayPal payments just like we used to, and everyone’s welcome to shop at ArtelW.com without puzzling payment tricks and delays.
However, the situation required certain changes, and we were forced to revise the product structure (a bit). From now on we have to cancel adjustable bundles and stick with the fixed price. Please note that variable number squads are now split into separate products. Sadly, we had no other choice. We hope that won’t cause too much inconvenience!
Unpleasant info from our Australian customer, Dave Dee.
Please, be aware!
Austalian Customers, Please be advised of the following;
Australian Customs, has as of the 25th of April, incurred an additional 35% Duty tax on all items imported from Russia. At present, this additional tax remains in effect until October 24th, 2022 for good in-transit and on the water. This applies to all couriers. Also note, extra scrutiny is being applied on Russian based imports, whereby parcels are opened for inspection. Any items for which duties are not paid are destroyed, they are NOT returned to their Russian point of origin.
These days we are constantly searching for solutions that would help us make purchase and delivery safer and easier for you, and here’s what we’ve come up with! We are launching a new feature at Artel’s online store which is basically PayPal payment + delivery from the US based warehouse. At this point the option is available for customers from the United States and Canada, but we are working on extending this to more countries and continents. Shipping time may be a bit longer than usual (due to the additional logistics leg) but most probably won’t exceed 3-4 weeks.
Also, I`m personally making some steps to make additional customs duty for our Australian customers not so overwhelming.
Hi, not sure if this is the place to ask.
I am in the UK. I want to buy the posthuman neowarrior miniature as a base for a conversion I'm gathering bits for.
Is it still possible to buy this from Artel W. If yes how do I do it. On the site it sais still in business then something about buying in America and paying with some other site. I'm must not be be fizziest pop in the fridge because I can't understand how to but. Please help me.
@Frozenfang - I don't think you can order from the UK at the moment. Artel W is based in Russia, so the various banking sanctions currently are making it almost impossible for them to get paid, as banks and Paypal etc aren't dealing with Russia. They now appear to have a workaround for the US and Canada but I think they're still trying to sort something for UK/EU.

Fair play. What a nightmare. I found some place in states selling that mini but it's like 35 quid with postage in total. I need the top half of it for a kharne the betrayer conversion though.
1st world problems right.
I think you can still place an order on the website from the UK. You place the order as normally. You'll skip the payment. After you get the confirmation email, you'll get another message with a link to the boosty.to patronage site where you make a donation in the amount of your purchase plus conversion fees as the donation price will be in rubles. The patronage site is registered to Tonga (.to), but the payment is processed through the Netherlands. I've done it once it. It's a little cumbersome, but it worked fine for me.

Ok thanks for the info guys. I went through the thing on the site and I am too paranoid to sign upto the site that was on the email. I don't feel comfortable handing my details over to random site like that.
I decided I would just pay the extra and buy it from their US guy and have it shipped to me from there.
I feel a bit ill now I am 35 quid in for this mini plus another 20 for the Kharn mini to butcher for bits to graft onto it, it is working out to be a very expensive kitbash.
That posthuman neowarrior dude by artel W tho! As soon as I saw it I just knew it was the one.

That's fair. I was skeptical at first too.

They do quality work in both design and the casting. Best resin miniatures I've ever handled.

Yeah their designs look cool and I don't think I have ever seen a bad review. Now I'm wondering though. That chemfist brute might be a cool base for a kharne the betrayer conversion. Why oh why.
