(noccy) The womans gaze snaps to you and you find yourself pinned to the wall, "Dont call me missy, mister"

She lets the magical force binding you go and you touch lightly back to the floor, more to your skill than her gentleness.

Ill pull the lever, mine and edons vantage point could help with our attacks.

(eagle) As you pull the levers several things happen simoultaneously

the orb is lowered into the room and below the artifact is raise out of its resting place

unfortunatley two other things happen, the first was obvious and all of you expected it, the harpies woke up and begun dive bombing the two on the platforms and the rest at the base of the stairs,

also the platforms at the top of the stairs began tobecome flush with the stairs, each slowly rotating until the stair beneath it was flush with the side of the platform, then the next stair and the next, soon the platforms would be atop a vertical wall each.

both of you begin to sprint down the stairs with harpies dive bombing you and the stairs behind you slowly merging into a solid wall

You mean THE lilith? The doombringer lilith? Im sorry but this kind of confuses me.

Amid the confusion, Ranun yells up to Edon and Rarora, "Ride the harpies down!" - and upon seeing the obvious worry in Rarora's eyes "Unless you would rather jump dwarf?!"

Ranun then turns to more pressing matters, he grabs the chest-piece and and swings his mace to meet any harpies coming in on him.

(Ranun) (really ride the harpies? lawls)

Your premptive mace strike was astute wiping out a Harpy as it screams towards you.

These birds arnt nearly as resilient as the warrior statues and your mace pulverises them with ease

I see Raruns point instantly. Even the fastest of elves couldn't out run this.

I leap across and onto one of the last harpies, and make a magical connection with the orb. I start casting disintergration lance, and Flay at the harpies.

Mean while, Darath connects with the orb and begins to cast a boosted form of healing aura, protecting us from injuries. After this, he casts Lashing Vines, the jewel in his staff glows green as vines leap forth, beating off harpies with their thorns and venom.

My harpie continues to decend as I cast, blowing harpies out of the sky...

The harpy twists around and you suddenly realise you have a problem, the thing has you in its talons

Ok lotus. But may i ask why proto brought us to you?

I signal to Darath, who casts rapid growth, and blow the harpy appart with flay.

The vines created by Rapid growth then are manipulated to form a net inwhich me and Raora could be caught. I also cast flay on Raoras harpy, who is also attacking him...

Haha, if only some of us had rope

(Maybe the way down was to take the chest-piece, and then put back the levers?)

I turn to Rarun. I don't have rope, I say, but Darath could use Rapid Growth to make some vines which we could use...

Muttering under my breath about some young uns, and other such nonsense, i fire a stack of icey arrows at the harpies.

I see EagleArk fireing, and channel some of the orbs power to his weapon, making it much more deadly. I continue to cast, trying to bring down the harpies. I cast both Freeze Lightning, and Inferus Umbra, as well as Disintergration Lance, blowing appart harpies left right and center...

Class: Archer
Race: Ataani
Weapons: Obsidean bow, obsidean arrows. Steel utility hachet, and two obsidean daggers
Armour Obsidean Chain mail with leather underarmor.
Appearance/Bio: Tall with black fur. He was born into a family of "Fighters for Hire" And grew up fighting in entertainment( Arena Death battles) matches. Little is known about him besides the fact he is an accomplished fighter.

Ranun is frantically killing the harpies but there are to many even for him, one of them picks Orac up and anouther snatches Durath

the vines supporting Rarora and (Tallon) stay in place and it gives them enough support to kill a few harpies

(Noccy) "This place is safe. If your running from someone, im sure you will be safe here"

Turning to see a harpie come towards my i slice at it with my axe, before turning towards the harpies carrying the memebrs of my team.

the harpies are trying to lift them over the chasm and you can see what they are planning next, one simple flick and your friends will be lost to the void

**The Bringer**

Ranun acts quickly, before the harpies bring his companions over the edge, he casts Inquisition on the Harpy holding Orac, and rushes to crush the holding Durath, ignoring all else.

(If inquisition fails, I throw my knife at it... it may just kill the harpy, or stun it enough for Orac to break free)
