your knife digs into the chest of the harpy and the thing shatters, Orac drops to the platform and skids, you see that he is going to fall off the lip and you dive forwards winding yourself on the ground as you grab his wrist just as he slips off

I cast and slash at the harpies, intent on beating them back.

(I think the idea of resetting the levers was to take the chestplate, and then pull back the levers to stop the harpies)

I cast Ice Lightning on as many harpies as possible, hoping to freeze their wings and send them pluminting out of the sky...

As the harpies fall i wait for them to be on the ground, and vunerable. Whenever one bounced off the floor, i would fire a flurry of bolts at them, hopefully killinga few.

(btw how many harpies are left?)

Ronan strains to pull up Orac at the odd angle. He grips the floor as best he could with one arm, and with his other heaved to get Orac up. He managed to get him high enough for Orac to do the rest of the work. "Get out of here! I can't save you again." Ranun tells him.

Ranun turns, to his horror, to see Durath is almost completely off the edge of the walkway. "Edon! Save him!" Ranun says, hoping that the elf knew of some spell that would be of any use.

Um, I think to my self, I don't know any transportation/flying spells. (I make a note to look for some)
Suddenly, I have a thought. I cast Ice Flare below my falling comrade, attempting to block his fall...

The wall of ice catches the twining who scarmbles back to land before any more harm can be done to him

the harpies are almost too neumerous to count, but you notice that tyhe doors to the temple havnt closed. if you can get out maybe they will either leave you alone or at least be easier to kill out on the slopes of the temple

He looks back at her. "They are the only things in danger, Kozac has the swords of truth and secrets and with your magic they should be simple to defeat"

She nods, "the swords make a big difference."

Slowly you manage to get the entire party out, the last to get there is Edon who has to leap through the doorway avoiding a swooping Harpy.

Kozac and this is aurella. I point to her. She's a sister. And im protecting her because she isnt fully healthy yet. (I use speartongue next to lotus her ear. And if you ever lay a finger on her which turns out badly for her...... you will be on my to do list)

I turn towards Darath, who sees my wounds and casts Healing Aura on me, and the rest of the party.
I clean the blood of the harpies from my dagger, and return it to it's scabard...

(Yeah, it buffs youu!!! - I believe marta said +50% to main stat for all these artifacts.)

I put on the gloves, as they restrict my movement least, and hand the chest plate to Rarun, to improve his skills as well...

"I will wear the armor given to me by Marta - I will have a use for it later however - but for now I think it best that Orac uses it to keep him farther from harms way."

"Now I suggest we use the little daylight left to continue marching, unless you would rather rest earlier?"
