That is a pretty nice design.
I didn't care at the time but I have to say it's start to pull my attention in now seeing it in physical form.

I'm going to go against the crowd and continue to be underwhelmed by the APC. The nicest things I can say about it is that it looks better than many other designs on the market (but that's a low bar), it seems to have a lot of options, and it fits well with the aesthetic of the army. However, it's just about the most boring design possible, and there are many places where it could easily have been improved. Tweak the wheel layout so they aren't as cramped. Add a step to the mud-guard so you can actually climb down from the side door. Mould a bit of detail into the inside of the hatch so it seems like there is a way to close it. What are those 'brackets' on the front edges meant to be, other than a call-out to the random bits of metal bolted onto other Damned gear? Why does the cab stick out like that other than to add random detail? How does the driver see behind or to the side? Why doesn't the pintle-mounted gun seem able to traverse? None of these things are deal-breakers, but together they chip away at my enthusiasm.
By comparison, the original Terrae Motus design still had a lot of issues, but at least it came with some real personality.

Fair point on the inside of the hatch (i guess i'm so used to having to detail these myself on older 1/35 tank kits i didn't notice it) The pintle mount may need tweeking too (but it could just be the photo or build not showing the pivot which i'd have at the bottom of the arm) I wonder if the brackets are there to add structural support for gluing ? If not easy enough to leave off As to the cab sticking out i'd say it's to provided the driver somewhere to sit with the engine being behind him based on the exhausts and vents in the roof, plenty of real world APCs & Tanks had and have terrible direct vision, easy enough for the driver to have vision screens Edit: [personal head canon, it was a civilian truck designed to have a single driver on the left, but the damned needed to add a second seat for a gunner and third seat for the commander and plenty of ammo storage, hence the driver was moved to an added on armoured box on the engine side] The British Alvis Stalwart army truck this is heavily inspired by didn't have any steps or even a side door (you scrambled up via the wheels then in via the top hatch) but as you say it might be good to add some, or perhaps cut the guard away under the door implying a ladder unfolds from the door when it opens

I find the Mauler a touch plain and boring, which is to say perfect as a blank canvas of a vehicle hull. I think what the Mauler is missing is the gubbins and stowage that convey use.
Glad I got one in the crowd funding and thank goodness we finally have a hull for kitbashing again.

Are there going to be multiple gun options for the APC? Sorry if it was discussed earlier and I missed it.

The sprues can be seen at: https://gamefound.com/en/projects/mwg--wargames-atlantic/the-damned/updates/74
In short, there are weapon options, but not a huge number of them. Multi-barrel flamethrower (i.e. a heavy flamer) or howitzer / grenade launcher / heavy bolter in the front hull. Machine gun / heavy stubber or minigun / rotary cannon / Gatling gun (presumably meant to serve as a multi-laser stand-in) on the pintle mount.
However, I believe that the plan (at least at one stage, see update 53) was for the option to mount heavy weapons teams and/or artillery weapons on the truck bed of the open version. That opens up the possibility of fielding it as a mortar-carrier (i.e. Gryphon or Wyvern substitute) or gun-truck (which might work for a GSC Goliath truck or Chimera with autocannon or heavy bolter in the 'turret').

I like the flatbed a lot more than the armored version, but the rear of the cab being just a flat panel seems weird.
I know it's to conserve parts count,it just seems like it should have some rivets, hatch, vision slits, etc.

Yea the flat rear is underwhelming to be sure
Gonna have to print some hatches and gak to stick there

Flat back of the cabin is a bit odd on the open version, guess I'll print some hatches and stowage to put on it

Ah! There’s a gun rack on one of the sprues which is meant to go there. My bad!

I like it a lot better with the flatbed than the enclosed interior.

I think these kits are fantastic and will have so many possibilities with different game systems to use both enclosed and open.
I looking forward to my pledge arriving (hopefully soon).

I actually prefer the enclosed version, but the flatbed is nice.
And there's a lot of potential for future add-ons. I'd love to see a small turret to replace the cupola.

Saw this on Facebook, and then in the newsletter. People speculating it's the halfling cavalry. I like them. I hope the final kit has the helmet option from the digital set. (second picture)

So are we getting close on the Damned campaign shipping? I just need to know if I need to clear a spot for the box to live for awhile, haha
