headswaps look good... try some empire fantasy ones too...white wolves (?) bearded ones...and the odd zombie head could work good too...

Hey Vik, the Legion stuff is all 32mm, the Imperial Assault stuff is 28mm. Some of it looks ok. I'm using a Trandoshan (Bossk's race) type Imperial Assault figure as an alien. They are all a somewhat flexible resin. Standard super glue holds it, but the vehicles are standard plastic.

Nice scale comparison...thats almost scientific. I like also that the bearded endor rebel seems to be now conon captain rex...that way, while he and his new fellas are bigger than earlier minis of the other game format it is a bit easier to include them because clones could have tampered dna and so on...

haha. I swapped the bearded head and made it blonde as an homage to one of my Favorite GI Joes...

The weathering is fantastic, gods that looks good.

Mass production is looking good, most impressive. Scale is one of those things that does and does not bother me, for instance, I am fine with your troops varying in height, no issue. average humanity has a range from about 5' to 6'6" with out the extremes taken in to account so no worries for me. However that shot with Vader is an issue Vader should be massive. scary tall, looming. And there he looks well average.

@Klaus. Not very customizable out of the box. It can be done with surgery. Headswaps are simple enough, but only with Heroic scale heads. They also aren't super great casts. Not bad, but mold lines are real. I missed several. For $25 a box of 7, you can play around. They are the height of Primaris Marines.

I just watched Rogue One again (a fantastic movie) and really noticed the different Rebel Uniforms, weapon weathering, and the shiny black elite storm troopers (they can hit what they shoot at)

Those troopers are great dave . I always thought they couldn’t shoot anything because they were too busy polishing their armor for inspection.

Although true believers in the force know that if you are one with the force the force is with you and you can’t be shot .

I watched Empire again too....I think the Death Star troopers have to spend a lot of time shining their armor, but anytime they are away from a polished floor and a bottomless shaft, there is lots of dirt. The Scene on Tatooine where the Troopers are checking out C3PO and R2D2's escape pod...those troopers dirt on armor doesnt actually make sense. Did they get in a sandball fight?

Vader Ordered General Whatsisname to send down a detachment and see to it personally, so these arent the normal Tatooine Garrison.

Great work on the Legion stuff as well...I'm putting up a herculean effort to resist buying into that game....I invested heavily in Imperial Assault and when they made the scale of the figures different, I swore I wouldn't start Legion. Still, I have to admit the draw to build some epic Star Wars themed terrain is nagging at me now...

Great work on those Star Wars minis! I always find white a difficult colour to paint. What brand of paint did you use for those Stormtroopers?

I used a lot of different brands actually. Grey and white Stylylrez primers. Citadel Ulthuan Grey (That's the secret to white armor - very light grey), Golden Fluid white, Vallejo German Grey, Schmincke Black (the best black paint) A little GW Hoeth Blue for the little side helmet vents, and a mix of Vallejo Metallics and black. Brand doesn't matter, the colors do.
