ill need a date of the time this is... im not EXACTLY sure once i have the current date (in game) ill be able to make a call, because he was thirty when he went in and has had a couple of decades out, anti aging surgury and etc has kept him at his prime. Technically hes fifty, but everyone sees him as mid thirties, he likes to think of himself as hundreds of years old though

sure, vernids have an avarage lifespan of 400 years. tennisk is in his 70's (fairly young, but not on a luke level, I would say, same age as han solo a few years younger)

But its not like you can be chummy with Terrence. Hes pretty cold. Professional. But cold.

*Shrug* For amateurs we all get along pretty well. And I'd like that to continue, that said if any of you have issues with me, speak up. Ill do my best to make it easier for others, all I ask is that you dont take offense if I point out something that isnt particularly constructive. Im just trying to make this easier for everyone.

Slightly shorter but still what i was aiming for, Enjoy

Terrence swore mildly as he realized what he and his men would have to do. The AA batteries were about 500 meters away across no mans land. That no mans land had been almost fixed for 3 weeks.
“It’s a good think were getting paid well for this. Alright all members move prepare to move out on my mark, approx…” Here Blackwood glances at the time readout on his HUD “25 minutes till departure. Eta at destination…” another glace here “15 minutes on the ground.”

He shoulders his rifle and heads down the stairs to the ammo dump. Grabbing a few clips he empties them into the special pouch on his backpack. One more these loose rounds go into his specially designed magazines. The clips were designed to hold close to double the rounds of an ordinary magazine and were reliable to not jam. Once finished with his task he grabs a few det-charges which get placed in his pack. The last thing he grabs is a trio of hellstorm grenades. The ordinance designed to ignite with contact with oxygen and absorb all the oxygen in an area, the weapons were efficient for flushing out bunkers as the lack of oxygen is preceded by a slightly unpredictable fireball, hence the name.

He waits for another couple of minutes before his men are ready, but on the aforementioned mark he double tabs his Mic and the squad moves out of the Villa. One flicks a spare grenade behind him which detonates and the remaining ammunition explodes shattering the villa and raising it to the ground. Terrence allowed himself to grin. He hated loose ends. Terrence directed his men to head forwards. The shots flicking around them were no hindrance as the squad makes efficient use of cover. They travel quickly and soon they are within close visual of the emplacements. The men had managed to reach the point without having to fire a shot but that option was no longer viable. They were confronted by a large group of soldiers who all decided to make themselves known by firing volleys of energy rounds into the cover the men had chosen.

Blackwood nodded to his heavy weapon carrier who loaded a White Phosphorus round into his custom made rocket launcher. The weapon made a roar of noise and the missile arced up into the air. The defenders laughed at the gesture but soon they were grunting in pain as small metal spheres rained down around them. Then all of a sudden the spheres explode releasing their white phosphorus payload. The gas was highly flammable and ignites with contact of air. When it did so the combination of the two creates a sticky white powder that adheres to anything it touches and burns ferociously. The Exolians were incinerated before they could fire another shot.

Blackwood gestures forwards and the men move through the soot of the dead aliens and approached the first emplacement firing solitary rounds down into the group of infantry there. The solitary rounds quickly turned into volleys as more and more infantry joined the fray. But no matter the numbers, of which there were maybe 3 dozen. The men would not be denied. Using cover to their advantage they worked in two pairs with a trio in the middle but back slightly mopping up what the others allowed through the fire line. Soon however the resistance was demolished and Terrance moved forwards priming a det-charge as he did so. The charge was placed under the chassis of the now silent emplacement and after moving deeper into cover Terrance flicked the switch. The resulting fireball totally engulfed the emplacement and wrecked it utterly. Then the ammunition caught and finished the job.

The dark haired man smiled to himself, ‘one down… three to go.’ He moved through the streets with his men. Here the occupying forces were thicker and small firefights sprang up frequently but the LADS moved on. Soon they were in visual of the second emplacement and a similar firefight to the first ensued; the attackers using the abundant cover of buildings to their advantage as they ripped apart the Exolian lines. Terrance repeated his actions from the first emplacement and a second fireball announced that the Exolians were loosing their heavy ordinance, and fast. The whirring of Vernid aircraft made its entrance and Blackwood looked up shielding his eyes to the light as the aircraft flew down low over the buildings and landed in the small courtyard of the building block the men were in. Vernid infantry jumped out of the drop ships and secured the immediate area and began to push forwards. Soon the site was thick with aircraft.

The last two AA sites were deeper into Exolian lines and Terrance didn’t relish the thought of having to wade through the inevitable trench systems they would encounter. But the arrival of the Vernid reinforcements was a welcome one with supplies of ammunition and a brief drink and rest. While his men were readying themselves for the next push a Vernid soldier approached the cold distant figure of the LADS leader.
“Hello human… My name is Tennisk and I’m here to carry on what you have most efficiently started. Thank you for your assistance here. But my caste members and I will take it from here. You are quite welcome to aid us but the burden will no longer be on you alone.”
