I sereiously think that this would do better on the basement.
I can't speak for everyone else, but I would prefer to have it on the basement as I seem to spend all my time there now and only come to dakka when I want to talk about 40k.

We really should have started this earlier...
I have kind of forgotton what it was all about and everything we planned.

Thats unfortunate. Would have to question the decision though, you are SEVERELY limiting your player base and somewhat unfairly excluding alot of us aswell. All of it For reasons that dont seem to make much sense or exist for that matter.

Bloodmoon over running or indeed the interest thread for this RP being set up too early may have dulled enthuasiasm for this but that is no reason to give up on it. Or more accurately give up on the 8 or so other players, some of whom have already written RP.

Also this basement you speak of is an unmoderated (it appears to have been set up by Darkvoidof40k lol) freeweb style affair.

actaully, it is the best site I have ever been on, the mods are Raptor, FITZZ, WARORK, lordharrab and Darko himself.

we have a zombie RPG going there that is too cool for words.

Perkustin, it's not at all unmoderated. Hell we crack down on spam and have even banned a user already for various reasons. I set the site up properly dude, not just as some random "hang out" crap that some people have done in the past. A fair amount of work has been put into it to make it as great as it is now. I don't see how anyone is limited (except Kaiser, for reasons beyond my control) - they simply sign up and get playing. Limitation? I think not my friend.

The basement is amazing.
Have a look around, you will soon see how well run it is.
There are alot of RP's going on with quite a large player base, 41 at the moment.

i Understand your site may well be growing and maturing but i cant see myself signing up, its just another password to remember. I just really want to play Inter astrum, and cant help but feel i am about to get unfairly excluded.

If i signed up to the basement it would feel like it was because i was forced (in relative terms lol, noones forcing me to rp) not because i chose to.

besides, I tend to use the same passwords for different sites. (not the same for dakka and the basement htough)

I just type them all up on a file and leave it.

most Basementers do not even come back to dakka that often.
