I did notice, though, that her telekinesis magical aura thingie is redder than usual. Normally it's a sort of lilac, but this time, it was slightly red. *shrug*

It wasn't just an emotional thing, either, because it was like that at the start of the episode.
She's getting better.

Personally, I prefer Nightmare Moon being simply a result of Luna's jealously and spite, and really just Luna with more powers and a different name. Her being possessed by an outside force just takes out so much of the arc and of the character of Nightmare Moon/Luna, for me.
I mean, we have an understandable reason as to why she went darkside, so do we really need a "and she got possessed", to make it not Luna's fault?
