I've seen mention of the miasma in a comic of the first fight between Celestia and Nightmare Moon but haven't been able to find it again. Anyone know where to find that?

Also, I see the Mac of few words just as a running gag thing, and the dolls fine as it's the standard stereotype breakin thing Laura does. Plus guys shouldn't complain a guy in the show likes a doll as they're watching My Little Ponies.

It's not the fact that he liked the doll that made him come off as slighty durr to me, it was just how he spoke. It just felt awkward.

I'm sure that someone will try to befriend Mac, and discover that he is a intelligent, thoughtful, and eloquent individual.

Or something.

There are some who walk until their legs fail them and they fall to the ground. I find that respectable.
Then there are those who drag themselves further. I find that admirable.

Here you go, Aduro darling.

One thing I noticed in the episode is that they did a good job at making Big Mac look, well... big. He's not really in the rest of the show much, and when he is he doesn't stand next to other ponies, but man... he's huge! And looks like a... a...

I forgot what they're called. The huge horses with the fluff on their ankles.

Let me rephrase what I said. I don't mean silly as in foolish, or stupid, or dorky, I meant that the situation doesn't make sense.

Why would she not tell him, in order to save him the pain of outliving his love, only to tell him, defeating the entire purpose?

In fact, it would probably make him feel worse than if she didn't try to hide it at all.

its SO silly. at least were not those weirdos who play with little soldiers, painting them up all pretty like and spending vast amounts of money to get more.

Ah Ponies, today my mother found my Ponies.

Lucky for me she knew my friend got me the MLP Hot air balloon nightlight as a "joke gift" so she just guess the ponies came with it.

When your soul mate dies its alot more heart wrenching than a normal friend.

It's also a lot worse to live without what you didn't have, rather than what you couldn't have.

From Spike's point of view, yes. ( the case of 1 sided love, or what he thought was )

But not Rarity's ( in this case since she dies first. Its literally her choice to give, and then take it away )
atleast in her mind.

But why would the element of generosity be so greedy?

She could give Spike love and hope, but she'll die first due to the long life span of dragons.
Whe she dies, it'll leave him with despair and sorrow for the rest of "his" life span.

Not saying either is right or wrong, but im sure thats how she felt.

Its the same thing with old couples. Usually when one dies, the other dies soon too :'<
Maybe its a blessing that humans are like that, im sure they'll find peace and happiness knowing they'll be together again soon
hence we always hear the saying " wait for me i'll soon be with you again"

But with different species its a cruel unavoidable fate.
Think of this guy as Spike but instead of waiting a few years, its decades...

Unicorn Kingdom Club - It was definitely acting, but he's probably a bit weird (in a good way) IRL.

As for Rarity/Spike thing; dunno. A little sad I guess, but an overdone concept and not all that of a new thing. X3

Poor Spike. I wonder if his silly little crush will come up more in later episodes?

No crush is silly ;_; and it will! it has to xD

perhaps something dramatic will happen like she gains extra life span through magic ( unlikely )
Or spike gets mortally wounded while saving his (cutting her life span in half or something ) confesses and she accepts.

I don't think she actually told him in the comic there, just his picture, as they never really showed him as anything other than a baby in a photo next to the photo of her friends when they were younger too.

I found it odd too, that the picture was of the young Spike, whereas in reality it was the INCREDIBLE MANLY SPIKE.

Manly Spike, Mike for short.

That section of the Diamond Dogs episode was incredibly cheesy.
