A quick update, I started filling in the valk with bits (and like an idiot forgot to take a picture of the celing i did :( ) well, nothing is glued in so that it can all be painted and put back, but i also got some amazing bases (thanks galorn!) i really like these ones, the casting is great it really only required the tiniest bit of cleanup and than they are ready to be used, the next box i but im definatly going to be using these bases, and im going to use it on my valk, and am probibly going to add some guys and gear down there to make it even more fancy then it already is...

nice. I'tll be interesting to see how much of the detail comes out when you paint em. a Painterly friend told me that some that I had given him painted up really easily.

yea i was suprised by how much texture came out on it, im excited to do up the valkyrie base!

love the progress and the feel inside the valk it looks great! cant wait for some paint.

Great work mate some cool ideas kicking around here, just an idea why not do a guy abseiling from the Valk That would look pretty cool descending onto one of Galron's bases

^ you took the idea right out of my head ldd.. and if i had shown you the celing like i was planning it would have showed a hook i planned to put the wire on for the repeling guardsman

and you use the big HW team base made from galorn as a valk base... will this be heavy enough to support the valk?

I like those Galorn bases, the Valk is coming along great too!

I have seen it done IRL but also on a model Valk before, it's looked great but make sure you get the pose right

The base is it plaster or resin ? it should hold the Valk sturdy I would think

Resin

If it is resin and deep enough, you could cut a hole in the bottom and add a weight of some kind if stability is a concern of course

The bases look great by the way Galorn

just asked because it sounds way too german for me to be an english word...

^ by the way vik on the base 1. it is much sturdier than a standard valk base, and 2. i think your mistaken, this isnt a heavy weapon sized base, it is infact valk sized

sorry galorn i dont have any atm, although (assuming you wouldnt mind) I gave one of my friends one of your bases to test out (different testing tecniques = better feedback) let me see if i can dig up a picture of it...

ok here is what someone is doing with your base galorn ( NOT MADE BY ME!!!!) oh and when people saw the bases, it got alot of nice attention.. one even asked if you had a website ( which i dont know if you do )

Not yet but soon. (pretty much as soon as I create the images for the inventory page and have a sit down with a potential web designer to get the specific specs of what I need to do...)
