That stand really came out great!! :O

Are you gonna count in the 102 rivets you used on the stand to the overall rivets-made?

Plus, every guy worth his salt has, at some point, made a plan in case of a zombie apocalypse. Though I have no firearms (damn British laws), I do have a few meat shields, spray paint and assorted types of knives, which is much more fun

The missiles are magnetized. The underwings:



The bench for the lower deck isn't shown. It isn't glued in yet and won't stay unless I tack it into place. All the seats will hold seated models including the two seat bench in the cabin for the Pilot/Copilot. all the interior panels are not glued in yet so they can be painted and then installed. It should allow for a nice viewable interior that is more fully painted. Good luck, Horst.....

OK. Been a while coming. I think that other projects are screaming my name now. I hope that you all have enjoyed this. I know I have. In fact, it has been a long tome since I enjoyed something not my family this much. I think I will keep doing this kind of stuff for a while. It passes the time and relaxes me....

I would be happy with one without an interior and lights even. As far who would start throwing money around for casts, hell even pieces like the engine, add me to the list! I would give you another round of congratulations and all that but i think you know full well the awesomeness of what you've made here.

Three weeks ago... LOL......


That project includes 11 warhounds (or more, depending on how I feel about them), two or three Reaver Titans, and another Thunderhawk. All of it will be posted as it is done with a lot of photos explaining how it is done.

Also, I am writing an article on scratch building in general. I hoping to include a lot of information in general about hows and whys and design and so forth......

It is going to be a collective effort, really, on the part of the League of Extraordinary Riveters.......

Oi! Whilst I can't deny this is truly awesome and possibly the coolest thing on Dakka at the moment (let you all argue about that one) - aren't you gonna drill out the barrels on the bolters? Sorry to pick - the rest is amazing work 10/10 (PS. Did we get a final count on those rivets or did I miss that bit?)

It's not finished it needs an amazing paint job now , not to add any pressure of course

hey max...to the max more like it! that is surley one hell of a grave for rivets you made! very awsome looking... in fact so good looking that i am quite more marveled about the flight stand... the whole E-hawk is so good looking that it now looks like FW made...if it werent for the color of the material...i love the effect the lights did on those pics... that little smear of lighting... lovley...

the flightstand looks very cool...a true hommage to riveting if i may be so bolt (pun intended...)

Wait. You want to build all that? Well, it should keep you occupied for a few weeks at least.
