Thanks Miss Dee, but I actually want the pad to be modeled onto the shoulder and to not use transfers.

I finally managed to finish the jump packs for my vanguard. It's only taken about 2 weeks off and on.









I'm sure they could be better but I think they're good enough for now anyway.

The vanguard look great. I love those raptor jump packs, and the FW heads are cool too.

Take off the imperial symbols and I'd put Raptors in my list just to field those models... Nice. So what's next?

Snow really holds back the priming

I loves me some Ironclads... It's just such a nice looking kit. I don't think I'll buy a regular dreadnought ever again.

@MasterDRD: I'd do the same, but would need the heavy weapons if I wanted to make the Ironclad a regular Dread.

I managed to get the legs of my Venerable Dread done tonight.

I managed to finish the torso of the dread. I also seem to have misplaced his head, so I'll have to look again for it.

I managed to finish the head of the dread today after converting it from another FW dread head. I'm not entirely pleased with it but from a distance it'll look fine I think.



I also have a couple WIPs; Librarians and a Scout Bike Sergeant.





Still have a fair bit to build so I should have updates shortly.

After months of doing nothing for this army, I've started painting them again.

I've manged to finish a Plasmagun Veteran for a Command Squad.



I've done some more touch ups since the picture was taken so for all intents and purposes, he's finished.

What is that bit on the cooling racks purpose?
And beautifully painted models. I have one thing to mention though, on some of the pics on the first few pages, the cloth looked like it was flayed skin. I'm not sure if you were going for that look with the pinkish color, or not.

@battle Brother Lucifer and Nightbringer's Chosen: It isn't supposed to be flayed skin, though that pic does make it look like it. It's supposed to look more like the parchment on the Venerable Dread. I painted it that way mostly so it would stand out from the armour itself, as I used Bleached Bone for both the armour and the parchment.

@Miss Dee: They aren't Word Bearers' Successors, they're actually Imperial Fist successors: see my second post on the first page.

I've got a fair bit done since that last model so I'll try and have something done when I've got the unit finished.

I managed to finish my Scout Bikers today. The scouts themselves are fun and easy to paint while the bikes took a bit more work than I thought they would.









I've got a Librarian and Master of the Forge in the works so I'll post them when I finish.

So he'll have blue arms and the bone coloured torso.
