Finished painting a campaign map for our FLGS:

I'll mount this on the wall of the store. Each tile has a rare earth magnet to hold a marker. More info in the dakka campaign forum section.

Haven't posted any photos lately because I've been focused on the campaign, but in a weird coincidence the campaign thread ticked over 12000 views within one day of this one ticking over 24000. Thanks everyone. Here's the terrain I made up for the campaign:

I've been working on a big project for the last 8 months that I really want to post photos of, but only when it is done done. In the mean time, I've been working on my Space Wolves for Templecon & a few smaller projects for other folks. Here's some progress on the smaller stuff:

Forgot to post photos of Karimozotolovix… you know who I mean.

Rushing to finish these for a tournament today, but found out registration is full - so pressure is off.

Last year, my FLGS owner gave me the greatest gift a painting geek could ever ask for. I asked if I could take home some store terrain & fix up bits and parts that had been broken off or worn out. He said, "lemme think about it." but then explained that over the last few years the store had accumulated credit for terrain but never used it. So he let me pick out anything I wanted from the GW website as long as I painted it up. Well, after a really long time:

Another Grey Cathedral:

Trenchline:

Imperial Bastion #1:
These next two bastions were some I made a few years ago & then just sat in my basement collecting dust. I traded them to the store for some other stuff.

I'm working on a Fateweaver model and noticed that one of my bottles of instant glue has quit working. Some of my hobby supplies were part of an eBay auction from a few months ago so I don't know why this glue doesn't work, but has anyone else experienced glue "expiring"?

The bottle on the left has a brown tint. That's the non-sticky glue.

And Fatey:

Soooo Pro Tip:

If you're going to prime a bunch of little bits in a box lid out in the yard on a windy day, don't walk away and come back after a few hours. If you do, be prepared to walk around your yard looking for little black bits that have scattered far & wide.

:/ hope you found everything. If priming bits I tend to stick them to masking tape to keep them in place.

By the way, Fatey from you previous post is looming good so far.

My latest thought on painting HH is to keep it simple. This is inspired by frankr's painting which is top notch.

Finally realizing that I need to start selling off some of my armies. (what's funny here is that six months later I repaint an even larger Salamanders army - see following posts)
Here's the first army that is getting the chopping block:

Hoping for $500 plus shipping with a tracking number, only shipping to US.

It occurred to me to use the salt & hairspray trick to make a symbol on my vehicles that is the lava core at the heart of every Salamander.

Working on Salamander drop pods:
Using an airbrush I created the lava look:

Added the salt:

I'm also painting some Word Bearers for a friend. I made some color palettes to compare different paints with different primers:

The paints are in the same pattern as the paint bottles, using the white to stack the one bottle.

OPPS I need to flip this photo 180 degrees,

Pretty happy with how the drop pods are coming along.

And the rhinos:

Shoulder pads:

Leviathan looks good though the arms are weird in this photo. They are magnetized so they don't always look like he is tap dancing:

Up close:

His lava paint colors turned out better than some stuff I just did this weekend. The Deredeo's yellow is too yellow:

Finally got my act together & started cleaning out the basement. Selling a ton of stuff on eBay. Sad to see it go, but the mountain of stuff I had accumulated was just getting to be too much. Here's a taste of my favorites that are being auctioned off:

Here are all the images of all the eBay auctions:
