Congratulations on making AD-B's blog. Very impressive artwork, I think the Talos one may be one of your best yet IMHO (but that may be due to knowing the context) - excellent work as ever.
"It is the great irony of the Legiones Astartes: engineered to kill to achieve a victory of peace that they can then be no part of." - Roboute Guilliman
"As I recall, your face was tortured. Imagine that - the Master of the Wolves, his ferocity twisted into grief. And yet you still carried out your duty. You always did what was asked of you. So loyal. So tenacious. Truly you were the attack dog of the Emperor. You took no pleasure in what you did. I knew that then, and I know it now. But all things change, my brother. I'm not the same as I was, and you're... well, let us not mention where you are now." - Magnus the Red, to a statue of Leman Russ
If you work in RGB how do you get them print ready, account for the colour profiling at the print house account for bleed etc, or do you turn them over to the client and they manage that part?
The reason why I ask is the stuff I manage for work we really have to alter the colour profiles quote a bit to make the image come out as expects.
The print-house I work with, a local printing house, is doing that job for me;
I have set my monitor to fit with theirs, so that anything that comes to them will look as I want it too when being printed.
I also seen the canvas version of two of my works, (from Deviant Arts canvas prints) and those where just to die for..they turned my digital art into something that looked like a traditional painting..
I have an HP true RGB screen with HD functinality.
Here is, in the meanwhile, a little first part of a tutorial on how to create a Primarch-illustration:
And here is one of the process-images from the blog.
For more of the process (and images of the process), and to find out what goes on in my head when I illustrate, head over to the blog and check it out.
The finnished illustration will be posted here once it is completed.

Is anyone reading these? I have no clue if it is even possible to answer to my posts.. would be nice to see a reply right here just to let me know
I've done some conceptart and a pitch-llustration for a Horus Heresy project recently.
Here is one of the three versions of the pitch-art
For the rest, you need to go to my blog:
Cheers Paradigm, to be quite honest, I just post in this topic here because it has been moved once. SO I rather not overstep and post where I'm not supposed to :/

There has been a couple of new blogposts, but this last one is the first in a while that is relevant for this forum.
I got two previewimages below, and the fully painted, final illustration, is to be found on the blogpost itself (above link).
See if you can figure out who the two heretics/renegades below are before you read the blogpost....
Alternative Heresy storylines are popular, this particular one is a Guilliman Heresy and has it's origins fthe Bolter and Chainsword forum but I thought you might enjoy it nevertheless...

Been following this artist for a while and the work is simply awesome - thanks for producing and sharing.

"Unimaginably ancient xenos artefact somewhere on the planet, hive fleet poised above our heads, hidden 'stealer broods making an early start....and now a bloody Chaos cult crawling out of the woodwork just in case we were bored. Welcome to my world, Ciaphas."

"I will admit that some Primachs like Russ or Horus could have a chance against an unarmed 12 year old novice but, a full Battle Sister??!! One to one? In close combat? Perhaps three Primarchs fighting together... but just one Primarch?" da001
i just stumbled across this amazing thread, you sir are a very talented artist, i really love the sanguinor piece!
something i really liked seeing on this thread is nerdfests praises!! I've followed his army painting thread, and he's a miniature painting machine!! that's quite a badge of honor to get such accolades from him!!
So I think most people know my old "Sanguinius at the Eternal Gate" illustration. It is one of the most known of my pieces.
Whilst it is a great, iconic, illustration, it is also quite static.
I have wanted to do a more fluid and actionfilled version for a long while and finally I got the chance.
