Centurions! I had the Earth and the Water guy. Usually the Earth guy would just shoot the water guy with the bazooka.

I also had some Mego's, including the Mego Spidey Helicopter.

Edit: How can we forget the early 80's Dungeons and Dragons toys? I apparently had quite a few of these. AD&D

HOLY. CRAP.

I actually remember that exact lego set from when I was around 5 or 6!

I remember the hours spent trying to get those goddamn stickers on the solar panels of the satellite to line up perfectly. . to no avail.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Excerpt from "Seeress of Kell", Book Five of The Malloreon series by David Eddings.

Twas a weird and wondrous time filled with polyester and toughskins jeans,a time before the story teller Lucas went mad,Twas a time when the great beast of over produced stadium rock ruled the lands...but there rose four champions who slayed the beast.

This would've been a lot more epic for me, if I liked the Ramones more.

However you win the "Post of the day award"

I know your pain, the pair of jeans I bought the other week cost me £6 ($9.50).

Are those thrift store or used jeans? I went to buy some jeans the other day and I couldn't find a good pair for less than $45.00. Cheap Wal-mart jeans were $20.00.

Yeah I know. I saw jeans from the 70's for $5.49 and then someone said they bought a pair the other day for $9.50. Jeans in my area are expensive I guess. They had a "sale" the other day. Regular price $55.00 (Levis) and they were buy one at regular price get one 50% off.

JcPennys and Sears mostly. If I am hard pressed for cash I get the cheap wrangler jeans at Wal-mart that wear out in 6 months for $20.00. What's bad is, the cost of living is supposedly a lot lower than other areas. Out movie tickets are still $7.50 and I am glad they are not $12.00 like the theaters a couple hours away.

I've had the same pair of jeans for like a years, they still look good.

Maybe it's the brand or something not to sure.

Wal-Mart is known for making cheaper versions of the same products. Heck Goodies (owned by Wal-Mart) did the same thing. They had jeans for $20.00 that lasted for a few months, but other stores had the same brand that lasted years.

I get my jeans from Hot Topic. Social Collision Jeans and Lip Service Jeans, comes in all styles and sizes.

Of course it's best to get ones that are on sale and such. See I shop around certain times so I can get $40-60 buck jeans for like under $25.

You never know what you might find, I usually buy Blue/Black/Grey
