**nocturne's wrath**

i walk to the barman and ask him if he has an black rose. the barman understands that i am an assasin and he nods towards a big fellow. i walk to him and i whisper in his ear: "care for a little party at the temple?" the guy looks up to me and smiles. "i thought you would never come."

"i hope you can bring some of your mates because i want a huge distraction. its time you stand up for yourself. so make your army and let me know when your ready."

**Tyranic Marta**

(Silentsong) The guy claps your arm and nods grinning, he leaves the bar through a back exit and you find yourself sitting at the bar, a black looking drink infront of you with a red swirl ontop, the bartender leans close "No charge for the brotherhood"

"thank you but it will only stay with this one and i would like to use the "catlocker."

the barkeeper nodded and gave a key.

silentsong walked to a door after he drank his beverage.

when he unlocked th door. and walked inside

**Tyranic Marta**

(Silentsong) The locker as you would expect has several racks of lethal looking weapons from all over the continent, most of them youve never seen before, an exotic sword twice the length of your forearm, curved and thin stands out amongst its fellows, you look it over briefly then put it into a black scabbard and place that on a back mounted bandolier.

Other weaponry in the room as well (tell me what ur lookin for and ill tell you if its there)

(you just got a Silentstrike Handsword enemies hit with it wont make noise)

**The Bringer**

Ranun woke up refreshed to the sounds of birds singing. He got out of bed and started wandering around the grounds of the fortress.

**Tyranic Marta**

(Ranun) As you wander around you gradually get to know the fortress better, it seems to be layed out quite simply, the main cathedral is in the center of the fortress, with the knights living quaters arrayed out around it, the civilians seem to be housed agaisnt the walls, their homes backing onto the walls, between the civilian residences and the knights residences there are a great number of training feilds, usually these would be utside the city, but because the knights of Phobos annually hold contests of jousting etc they are insidde the walls for the civilians to watch in saftey. The armouries and smithies appear to all be below ground and the smockstacks from these appear on the towers of the walls, as they can also be sued as signal fires in times of need, smoke signals that can travel high into the air.

Each knight maintains his own weapons and armour as a rule however the paladins get their weapons just before battle from the smithies, the Clerics tend to live inside the cathedral except on festival days when they roam the streets preaching to the townsfolk.

The many gardens throughout the fortress are home to many birds, and many of them are songbirds. A great variety inside the fortress means that it is never quiet.

The markets and such that usually abound in a place like this are absent, instead it seems that each civilian home is a two part affair, the bottom story is a shop, the upper levels for residency.

Around the fortress are great fields of wheat and other produce, however only on the rarfacing side of the fortress, and are enclosed in great curtain walls to protect the farmers.

All of the knights have the opportunity of eating in the lower levels of the cathedral just below the sepulcture, and ringed around this great hall are the guest rooms where you are staying.

At about midday when you are having your meal the knight you met yesterday, Marta, walks into the hall, in full plate armour with a sword at his hip and his great shield at his arm.

He looks around briefly and sees you, walking over he hails you, "How goes it Ranun? I wonder if you would ride with me to battle this day? The skeletons are massing in a moderate force just south of the city, your aid would be greatly appreciated."

**The Bringer**

"It goes well with me. I will gladly ride out with you to meet the skeletons in battle. May I meet you at the gate?"

**Tyranic Marta**

This is to the good, i will see you soon, if you wish for a horse for battle you may take one of your preference from the stables near the cathedral, if you prefer to fight on foot then you may wish to fight alongside the paladins that are heading out with us, your weapon will be appreciated there, but no matter where you go to battle, may the light of Phobos guide you."

"i hope they got these balls that can instant kill a man."

i swing the sword under my cape and over my back

**Cruor Defaeco**

Yanking cruor removes his claymor from the now still demonic warrior's body then taking his his victoms wepons as his prize . he says "Warriors rip the body apart leave no evedance of the battle dont want any locals finding whats going on out in the dark"

**Tyranic Marta**

(Silentsong) You find several of the little balls hidden under a shelf, "there you are"

Taking them you also look around but dont seem to find anything else of value, but on your way out you take sevearl smoke bombs, "these should help"

**Tyranic Marta**

(Cruor) the weapon shatters in your grip and a demonic soul flees into the night sky, the weapon was cursed to the weilder... its useless now, the warriors quickly dispose of the body, "we need to keep moving" you say

i go to sleep

**The Bringer**

"I have never liked riding a horse, I feel more at ease when I have firm ground under my feet... so I will go out with the Paladins"

Ranun returns to his room and readies himself for battle. He dons his armor and takes his Kanabo, and then headed back towards the gate.

**Mordoskul**

Iliad rights himself, taking after Cruor.

**Tyranic Marta**

(silentsong, Ranun) You two are now on the same timeline and are in the same area, just a heads up)

(silentsong) Upon waking you go out into the streets, its a long time scince you have been here and much has changed, but the knights of Phobos still ride out daily to fight the encroaching hordes from the sepulcture.

(Ranun) You look a brutal sight, your tribal armour making its mark on the paladins who look impressed by your massive prescence. The layered plates of your Iron armour make an interesting sight against the bright white of the burnished steel plate of your allies.

The horns of war sound and a low chant springs up in the ranks of paladins, you can feel the energy flowing through you, the paladins draw their double swords The ring of metal fills the air, you see the swords in bright clarity, ever burr on the bright steel showd to your eyes, you look around the fortress and find yourself able to pick out the face of a housewife hanging out washing on the other side of the fortress. Whatever the Fanatics are chanting, you lie the effects.

Just then the entire company starts moving forwards and your allies continue their chant, more terrifying to the enemy than a thousand warcrys

**Tyranic Marta**

(Iliad, Cruor) The two of you and your warriors move closer to the twon, you all sheath your weapons and look at the dull landscape, one of the knights speaks, "Why does the great Necromancer even wish for these lands? There is nothing special here"

Anouther answers, "Do not be a fool, the Necromancer wishes to be the one who ressurects the great son of Plague, who is imprisoned in the fortress at the center of this land, that is our final goal."

**nocturne's wrath**

i walk outside and hear the chant as i hear it i know that i must wait for the kill. i walk back inside.
"brother, we must wait with the kill, we of the brotherhood are killers but we are not heartless so i don't kill him and see this city slowly die because they cant choose a leader as it is war. i ask you to ask the masters permission to hunt for the enemy general so the kill can be made a lot quicker. oh and can i get a nightstalker ale? i know its your specialty. and i think i don't even have it finished before i get a answer back."
the barkeeper and silentsong smiled as he gave silentsong his ale and sended the message with his shadowwing.

**Tyranic Marta**

(silentsong) The message does indeed comeback swiftly, the target is not up for debate, however i agree, killing the high priest now would create a war we cannot hope to survive when the tides of undead wash over the continent... you need to infiltrate and gain the trust of these holy warrirs, then when the war is over against the undead... then you may strike.

**Cruor Defaeco**

Grunting and dismounting his mount cruor tells his men to do likewise. We go in town on foot find where the local military are and who organizes them keep any part of you that will show what we are hidden. Meet back here before sunrise. By then the runner i sent back to camp will be back by then.

**Tyranic Marta**

(Cruor) The warriors nod and disperse

**Mordoskul**

Iliad questions the men about the Great Necromancer; "Is he in the line of Mal? Once, I did battle with the Great Necromancer Gogoth-Mal many years ago."

**Tyranic Marta**

(iliad) "One of the warriors clacks out a laugh, the great necromancer is not as weak as that fool, he does not fight, rather he turns your thoughts against you and forces you to submit to his rule. there is no denying him."

**Mordoskul**

"Does he appear as a man wreathed in golden plate, such as I?"

**Tyranic Marta**

no he does not, his robes are dark and illustious, to look at them is to go trulymad

**Mordoskul**

"Has this apparition a name?"

**Tyranic Marta**

Only the Great necromancer, he erased his name centuries ago, the elves know him as Ravana, "He who makes the universe cry out in terror" he is apparently invincible.

**Mordoskul**

"Do you know of a man in golden plate, like the set I now bear?"

**Tyranic Marta**

Yes he appears from time to time, great armies and servants of his also roam the wastes of our home... i take it you are one of these servants... you would do well not to advertise that fact... the warrior of the shining gold is not well liked by the necromancer

"Why is that? We are both determined to cover the land in death?"
