different scouts run to the edges of the forrest looking for more lizard things. while walking throught the forrest i find a small hawk. i quickly catch it and tie its foot to my arm for training later on.

(Trayln) the scouts report back quickly, there are many smal squads like the one you just destroyed, every single one with a gold class warrior

(Silentsong) the message is sent, but the bartender looks uneasy, "you cant just get one of these robes... they are issued to acolytes of the order of Phobos... the only way i see for you to get one is to actually become an order member. Im sure there are other ways but none come to mind"

(silentsong) the sight that greets you is truly awe inspiring, an entire 10 companies of armoured knights and fanatical paladins are heading to battle the undead hordes outside the city. But even with this massive force leaving the walls there are still a full 14 companies inside the walls, and a full 12 cadres of battle clerics. The city is far from defenceless even without some of its best troops.

(cruor's not posting so you can take control of the knights, your origional mission was recon of the town.)

disguised as a normal citizen i walk to a paladin master and ask him with respect
"lord if i may ask i would like to join the ranks of the town gaurd. is that able milord? "

(silentsong) the paladin looks you over and nods, go to the cathedral, the center spire, the clerics will take you in, if you want to be a part of the guard then you must first follow our faith, the order of Phobos accepts that all have a purpose and those who come to us have been guided by her, so you as long as you show particular interest in our faith then there is no problem with you joining our order."

(silentsong) the paladin nods and points you to the cathedral, as you get closer you can feel a powerful holy prescence, part of your training involves becoming acute to magical power, its everywhere here.

The massive doors open as you approach and two young men wearing pure white robes come out to greet you, one is holding a small bowl infront of him, the bowl appears to be emmitting light

Ranun joins in with the chant and boldly marches on.

He looks off into the distance to see if he can see where the band of undead is...

"greetings milords. i would like to join the tower gaurd in these dark times."

**Tyranic Marta**

(RAnun) the undead are clearly visible on the skyline, several hundred meters away a seemingly unending tide of skeletons approaches, yu look around at the paladins and see there eyes, every single one has golden eys, motes of power flowing from thier mouths, the knights appear to shine slightly in the semidarkness brought by the skeleton horde appraoching, thier swords held in mailed fists, their bodies crouched down behind massive kite shields.

The order to charge springs up, the paladins charge forward without warcry or indeed any change in their tempo of chanting, an almost slient horde sprints towards the skeletons twin holy blades from each man shining in the light.

**Tyranic Marta**

(Silentsong) You are quite welcome to join us, but first we must affirm your request, please drink from the bowl of phobos, then we may take you to the armoury.

i take a sip of the water and use lightbend on my cheeks so the monks don't see that i am not swollowing the water.

(very nice well done) (silentsong) The priests nod and take you to the armoury, whn neither of them are looking you spit the water out into a pot plant,

when you get to the armoury the priests talk briefly with the quatermaster who turns to you, only then do you notice that behind the desk hes standing on a raised dias and is a dwarf,

"Well Laddie lets get you sorted our then."

"yes milord i must say that i am trained in the way of the sword"

(Silentsong) "Im just a blacksmith laddie, im nobody's lord, now you say you can use a sword, can ye use two?"

Good laddie, now come here, we need to fit you out with armour, the dawrf climbs sevreal short syeps and takes several aieces of white armour from a set of shelfs, he comes back down and begins to fit your armour, once completed you have now got "Full plate mail" and he also gives you a pair of swords, about 2 feet long each and double edged. A pair of scabbards as well, "2 broadswords"

Iliad takes the remaining death knights and continues his task.

(no problems at all Mordoskul) (Iliad) the company of knights canters down the slope, the undead wolf of Cruor loping beside the deathsteed horses. eventually you get to the town, you dimount from your steeds swathing black cloaks around yourselfs, then as your steeds dissapear into the darkness waiting to be called again, you move into the torchlight of the gate. The gatekeeper calls to you "What be your business here so late wanderers? I count 10 of ye on foot, and coming from the east, well this is a surprise, not much out there, now tell me your business so i can let ye in."

"We seek to scan this area for....'interlopers'. We serve under the seal of the Golden Man, so it would be wise for you to let us pass."

(Mordoskul) "The golden man ay? havnt heard that one for a while, well through you come then no point holdin you lords up on your passage, the golden man has a fair reputation around here, tho noone here would speak his name to ye"

**The Bringer**

"For Syrnga!" Yelled Ranun furiously as he charged the skeletons. (Syrnga was one of the Wood-Goddesses)

Though it may take skill to wield to blades, Ranun was not envious of the Warriors of Phobos... all it took was a really big stick to compensate for them.

Ranun and the Paladins swept into the skeleton horde. Ranun leaped into the horde and started crushing the skeletons before him with his mighty weapon.
