Do you really want a picture of what is essentially a large hole?

It's a rather impressive large hole, though.

We really need to build a safe route down. I fell and then died about 15 times trying to get my stuff back, I never managed to find it though.

There is a water column on the far side, and a second near the supply house, that can be used for descent and ascent.

@Anvildude: Well said. Pics incoming!

How are we mining the towers that are left?

Picks or TNT?

If you want to donate TNT, or gunpowder, feel free, but picks are all we have right now.

I agree, that is one impressively large hole

If this is going to be full-sized, I can run the interior designs. If not I can support exterior efforts. Is this going to be in a pit that resembles a titan-construction center? If so I can build surrounding machinery and assembly lines... .... ....Zombie-Servitors.......hmmmm

We're actually going for twice actual size, to get some detail.
If you'd like to aid with the insides, feel free, but the hole is my current concern.

I like the idea of a manufactorium being near it with an assembly line creating "ammunition" and parts for it. Could use the elevator I posted a while back in the main thread to make the conveyor belt pushing it along with pistons along the way shaping it. Perhaps even a few so the conveyor belts could carry the stuff in stages and look more like it is building.

The resources required though...

Can pistons pull spawners?

Apparently they can or could, information I'm looking at is from April but I have a dungeon nearby I can test it out on as I kind of want to move it anyway.

They could also work the same way as with the dragon egg and make it drop, but then you'd just get pigs. Either way I'll test it out now and get a first hand definitive answer.

Edit: they do nothing to the spawner like obby.

Silk touch picks can pick up spawners.

Aw, that sucks.
Are you sure, corpse? I thought they had that removed.

Such a shame-there's a zombie spawner near me we could use as servitors.

Thank you.

Digging would help more.

Help me dig.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I have had an epiphany for the floor of the pit- crafting tables. It looks quite ad-mechy.
We would have to use something else for the titan's footprint, though- it's hard to build on crafting tables.

That's Brilliant!

Other options would be pistons with the piston side up, or furnaces (use up some of that Cobble)- though Furnaces could be nice for some rows on the walls around it.

To build that way, you mostly just need to put the stuff 'attached' to it down before the item itself.

Furnace walls and Crafting Table floors, awesome.
How are we going to get in and out of the 60-metre deep hole?

And thanks to those who came up with the tower furnace idea.

That would be amazingly kind. I'm very sick of falling down that hole while trying to dig it out.

I would love to join you all! I'm rather good at fortification building and building LARGE buildings.

I could build a Manufactorm for the Titan itself considering the Imperium does not tend to leave such things laying in the open.

"The Imperium is nothing if not willing to go to any lengths necessary. So the Trekkies are zipping around at warp speed taking small chucks out of an nigh-on infinite amount of ships, with the Imperium being unable to strike back. feth it, says central command, and detonates every vortex warhead in the fleet, plunging the entire sector into the Warp. Enjoy tentacle-rape, Kirk, we know Sulu will." -Terminus

"This great fortress was a gift to the Blood Ravens from the legendary Imperial Fists. When asked about it Chapter Master Pugh was reported to say: "THEY TOOK WHAT!?""

From what I understand, the titan is supposed to be attacking the citidal.

Then I could help work on the citadel, or build some supporting tanks and fortifications. I really want to help out
