The playoffs is just the top finishers in each division and then the next two with the highest record cutting to a top 4, right? It doesn't seem to be very clear how many players it's cutting to.

Player skill has a lot to do with winning. As well as codex familiarity and comfort. That's why dudes like Grimgob and Russ can beat people's faces in with an older codex.

I was under the impression there were wild cards too. I will have to check the league rules on that though, I may be getting the WMS rules mixed up with the escalation league rules...

Hey if anyone from Chainsword wants to get a game this saturday at the bunker(or anywhere south OC-Brea is possible as well) let me know, I still need to play Sgtpjbarker, OverwatchCNC, Travis, and Brandon! I won't be able to make it to pasadena until next weekend.

We can pretty much just call this and give me the prize at this point, right???

You still have to play the playoffs, then the finals and then play San Diego Champion in the Superbowl ;p

Dok and I thought we had it pretty well worked out. It looks like he won his division, and either Scott or Levi will be winning ours. As far as wildcards etc. goes I have no clue but with my excruciatingly close loss to Scott on Tuesday I think any chances I had of making it are out the window.

Haha, It MAY have been the California heat, but at round 5 I looked up, noticed I was sweating. Realized I had just kinda came out of that super focus you get on a good game! The end of the game really came down to whether a heavy psybolter could do in a rhino, and it didnt. I wish one of us had been logging it. That was epic.

Well I logged 80 points altogether (not counting my battle with greg). Where you at in points scott?

I had:
Major Loss to Levi (out of division).
Major Loss to Josh & Andy.
Major Victories over Derek and Ishmael.

Lee, Allan and Tom dropped.

Bonus points are in Travis's hands.

5-8 against levi
13-1 against greg
13-1 against paul
9-7 against rob
12-3 against brandon
10-3 against John
2 absentee matches (travis and lee) which are "full points" I have no idea if thats 10 or 14 from what I was reading in the rules.

82 if its 10 points each, 90 if its 14
