Are you okay with others borrowing/being inspired by/stealing your ideas?

Nope, not at all bothered with people pinching ideas, I only ask that you put a link in here afterwards so I can take a lookie and see what others have done (so I can maybe pinch some ideas from any improvements ) .

The Ghasts are from the Wargods range of miniatures, no conversion work .

All the undead are for a co-operative Mordheim campaign "Vampire hunters", the rules for which can be found on the "Wargame weaver" blog, I still have a lot of skellies and characters for the campaign to complete.

Who makes the Gargoyles and Spiders?

The gargoyles are Games workshoop furies and the spiders are made by some random chinese (probably) halloween toy maker lol.

Dire Wolves from Chaos Hounds (yep they aren't very wolf like).

They actually look a lot nicer without all the spikes and stuff, a real "worg" look to them.

I went the other way round used Dire Wolves for y Chaos Hounds. These do look more usable for living opponents however

The primary reason for using these figures is I picked them up on the cheap lol, as this project uses SOOO many figures for the undead and I have never played undead I needed to get a lot of figures, therefore price was the main factor, at least with the rank and file figures.

I found a few more mins over a couple of weekends to glue this guy together and I applied some liquid greenstuff to finish him off over the weekend, even managed to get him undercoated and started to paint him last night (no photos yet though).

He's (obviously) to go with the wood elf type warband.

Cheers, yep it's a Ferile warpwolf from the Circle or Orboros faction (the closest thing to wood elves I guess, though not really very close lol).

Updates
Not at all convinced by the glowing runes, I need another go at that.

My brand new pot of P3 Molten Bronze is totally solid :( so I don't have a highlight colour for the Bronze.... otherwise i'm nearly there now.



Also managed to get Ghetorix to this level, still a few stages behind the ferile:

Minor update again, really slow going when you get next to no weekends, or evenings off anymore lol.

Here I have recycled one of my replaced ghouls (the rest either got sold or made into Zombies) with some corpse cart bits and pro-create into a Zombie totem bearer (read my blog if you want an explination).

Tiny bit of work on some new Skaven for the Eshin warband.

Island of Blood Skaven are a huge improvement on the old models and nicely dynamic too. Is this for a new scenario or a separate warband

The 2 night runners and the black skaven are for the Eshin warband, different warband to the plague initiates but the same as the Eshin sorcerer I painted a while back (october 2013... yikes lol).

Managed to find a little time to start painting some skaven over the last 2 weeks

Paint in progress on the Clan Pestelin Priest... or Sourcerer, that depends on the miniature I find to fill the other role lol, no conversion here, stock model from the screaming bell / plague furnace kit.

This is the kind of work I wish I could do all day long. I love the conversions. Where did you get the Gnome heads from the front? What do you do with these lovely models ? Is there a game you're playing with them?

Nothing they are all sitting in a display cabinet once "done" (still haven't fiished any basing lol), I would love to play a mordheim campaign of some kind with them but though I now know of interested people, until my baby daughter is sleeping through it's just too knackering to go to a club of an evening :(.
