I'm curious as to whether the detective seized models he may have gotten through legitimate trades, but used in his scams.
For example, the two Stormravens he 'sold' to me.
Are these someone's models he got through scamming, or did he have them legitimately?
There will be quite a lot of sorting to do when the items are released.

WarOne said he got my Dark Vengeance stuff from him through a trade that they made together.. So yes I believe he would take stuff from others then use it in legitimate trades.
Ill find out about the release, to see if Det. Curtis has one. Automatically Appended Next Post: From: James Curtis [mailto:jcurtis@cityofnorwich.org]

Austin,
Change of plans. After checking with our property people, they would prefer a letter written to Lt. Albert Costa outlining your request to have your property released to a third party. Included would be the name, address and phone number for the person who would be getting the property. Please include your name, address, phone number and a copy of your driver license as well as the NPD case # 13-1344-OF. Mail the letter to Norwich Police Attn: Lt. Costa, 70 Thames Street, Norwich, CT 06360. Once we have that letter we will release your property. If your prefer to scan and e-mail the letter to speed things up that would be fine but please also san and e-mail the front of your license or ID.
I have to take off now. Hit me up in the am if there are any issues.
Thanks,

Terrible ones!
Some of em anyway and I wouldn't expect great prices. So if you want a bargain good times. Other are new and undercoated, others are awesomely customised (not by me regrettably).
Here is the list:
1. Shock Attack Gun finecast painted with brass balls
2. Metal Burna boys couple of plastic ones
3. Battle fortress custom. Looted Leman Russ. Looted Wagon with Boom Gun all with a blue paint job
4. Lootas 12 undercoated black, mek couple of lootas either missing an arm or customised
5. 80 odd boys mixture of painted and unpainted with the occasional occasional older edition boy in their.
6. Mega Armoured Nobs, metal x 3 and a Mega Armoured Boss customised with Dreadnought parts
7. Customised Gretchin Artillery that are my own devising x 3 awesome
8. 10xnobs one lot of AoBR and one lot of new
9. killakans x 6 some are missing bases but the bases are there because I was about to saw and customise
10. Ork fliersx3 2 dakkajets one with a missing tail wing which I have in the house
11. deffkoptas x 6 with god awful amounts of green stuffed magnets (I was just learning please don't judge me)
12. Gretchin x 30+
13. Stormboys x 6 the arms and whatnot weren't glued on some of them.
14. AoBR bosses x 2 and one old metal boss with a vivid paintjob

jason1977- I believe, since you have taken the initiative and already spoken to the detective (as he mentions in his email to scud), and own a pickup truck to haul the stuff away with, that it makes sense for you to go and get the items. If you discovered that you did not have time to go through it all, you could always do a hand-off to TraceofToxin later (in fact, that may be a very good idea depending on how much stuff it is ). So, I think that is the best solution. Have you PM'ed scud1703 your information for him to give to the detective?
It also sounds like, for simplicity, the police are considering all of this property to be scud's for the purposes of releasing it. Which is honestly for the best. Otherwise, every single one of you would have to contact them and work out arrangements to get your items... and that would likely never happen... they do have other things to do, after all
Thanks again for taking the initiative on these things, scud, jason1977, and TraceofToxin (if your help ends up being needed to go through / ship some of the items after jason1977 picks it up).

I was looking to do this in one shot. I have been working on a couple homicides, a shooting and a separate death investigation so I’m looking to stream line the process if that is ok. If you do not feel comfortable with that let me know and we can work something out. You are the only complainant as you are the only one that ensured I got a police report. The arrest warrant has already been submitted to court and the suspect about sh*t himself when we approached him so I think we accomplished what we set out to do. As soon as the warrant is returned from court he will be arrested, hopefully by the end of the week.
As soon as i have all the info ill send the release to him today
thank you

Scud, have you sent approval for the detective to release the items to jason1977? Sounds like he has other things he needs to move on to now!
Also, could you / someone post a link to where the city manager's contact info can be found, so folks can thank him easier?

I called the police station and talked to the supervising officer. Didnt go into much detail but I asked who to address a letter of thanks about a detective work. He said the chief should get it. Here you go:

Ahirman085 has contacted WarOne so he may be contacting others about, what he considers, good trades he made with items from people he stole from. Just be careful if this guy contacts you.
Hey Warone i know it is a long shot with things that are going on which i'm receiving my due punishment for ( mistakes happen and things got out of hand but thats left to each side to argue out) But i am in need of a list provided by you of what i received in are trade i cant seem to find the trade list in my PM box and id really like to keep this stuff being it was a good trade on both party's and since its all been handed over to the authority's The detective dealing with it asked for a list of what i received from you so that i can claim it as mine ( he knows we had a good trade) so if you could just shoot me a PM with the contents of what you sent for your end of the deal that would be great for me if for some reason you dont feel like sending me the list thats fine to i just dont want all the bad things to interfere with some of my good trade's and would like to keep what i traded from my personal stuff is all the choice is yours i know what i received from you the list just sets it in stone. And again i know the community is pissed and i know that is an understatement at the least but i figured i would at least extend and apologie out to you since we did have a good trade.
WarOne, contacted me, Scud1703, to let me know that Ahirman085 had traded my stuff to him, WarOne. Just be careful.
