Thanks to all who had a hand in getting this issue resolved. I have received my property back fom Jason. If anyone hears anything about criminal charges being moved forward on, I am sure that everyone would be interested to see how far this goes. Thanks again.

Gibson has been arrested and will appear in court in the near future. The prosecutor is happy with the documentation and when he/she is ready to proceed with the case they will let me know. Their office is no different than any other prosecutor’s office so it may be a few months before the case is settled. I will contact you after I hear from the prosecutor.

i posted out the last box Friday.

As someone who mainly trawls sites and lurks in the background i'd just like to say how inspiring it is to see the community get together and stop a thief and help get people there goods back.

To all that facilitated this endeavour Kudos from a little guy in Aus.

The good news is Mr. David Gibson has a court hearing on August 1st at 10 am. It appears he will get some probation for Larceny 5th which is apparently a Class B Misdemeanor. Not sure what all that means. I received a Notice of Application for Accelerated Pretrial Rehabilitation on Saturday. I will go ahead and fill it out and send it back. It appears no jail time will be served, but I doubt he will do this again. If I did not agree with this I would need to go to Norwich to say so on August 1st… this is not going to happen  though I do believe Mr. Gibson has done this before hopefully this will show him that he can’t get away with this. So justice will be served. Special thank to Detective Curtis and the Norwich Police Department. If people involved have not written a letter to the Norwich PD please do so. Also thanks to Jason for taking the time to get everyone their stuff back as well. That was a lot of time and boxes that he had to go through. Thanks Jason!!!

You guys have done a great thing. Hurry for justice!

I received an awesome surprise in the mail today... I received payment back from Mr. Gobson in the retail amount of the models traded. I was not expecting anything so this was pretty awesome. Thanks again to everyone on BTOWN and dakka dakka that helped out with this.

I would like to say, BTowners and Dakkaites you are all awesome for such great team work and I hope this guy is slammed royally in court.

Just a heads up, Dave is back at it again. We've currently got a swathe of people in a Facebook 40k trading group getting scammed by him. I don't know if he's back on dakka, but it would be advisable to watch out when dealing with someone from Norwich CT named David Gibson.

I would advise everyone who is being scammed to check out Dakka and BTown. How to catch this guy is already here and they already know who this guy is. The Norwich PD are more than willing to help out with this. I will try and contact the detective again to let him know this guy is up to his old tricks.

Obviously if I am sending you an email the Cowboys have just beaten the Giants in the NFC Championship game. But since we have Jerry Jones and its not football season, I have to email you about Mr. Gibson. I received an email that Mr. Gibson is up to his scam artist ways with these models. I am just letting you know that you may be getting more emails or phone calls regarding this guy very soon. Everyone is referring the people being scammed to the websites Dakkadakka.com and Bartertown.com. This is where me and other posted in our attempt to catch this guy the first time. People will follow the chain and it will get back to you.

Maybe if we can do something before this gets out of control let me know.
