We've had 40k today, but getting another 90k is a bit of an ask. Will probably open it up in pledge manager even if they don't get the 925K by then I'd say.

I think they're trying to reach $1.2M like Deadzone. I don't think it'll make that $925k mark IMO.

Do we know how big the dragon is? It may justify why they made it a paid add on. (Saying that with all the other stuff included in this stretch goal it does seem good value).

Supposedly it eats up as much or more in terms of tools than the other expansions did on their own. I'll see if anybody knows.

While you can, it's a bit of a jerk move, if you're planning to spend the money, pledge it, and help get to the next stretch goal.

On a personal note, I'm quite excided by this game, I'd not been interested, then a friend sent me a link and I got hooked.
I've gone Dungeon Master with $100 extra so I get the hardback, some expansions, and dice/rulers etc.
I missed out on Deadzone due to finances, and I'm not missing out on this.

Posts like yours are a jerk move. Not everyone will have $100+ spare right now. So you get to tell people how to spend their money when you pay for them yourself out of your own wallet. Until then, pull your head right in.

Plus Mantic counts pledge manager funds towards stretch goals, DBX and Deadzone had two or three extra stretches each unlocked that way, so it's not super critical to have all the money down up front.

I'm not pledging all right now either. I'm adding another $125 in the pledge manager (at least), but right now I'm leaving it at $100-125 because of funds. The manager funds will likely be collected decently later. Can't blame people for doing that, we have plenty of awesome additions, and this is definitely worth the buy.

The only thing adding all the funds does for us now is increase the impact of new potential backers looking at the page for the first time and dogpiling after thinking "Mantic, your campaign seems to have the momentum of a runaway freight train. Why are you so popular?"

I think we will probably hit the dragon expansion stretch and that will probably do it for stretch goals.

Blimey, had not checked in on this KS for a good while, had never imagined that they would hit 700k let alone the nearly 900+ that this will probably finish on.

So it is currently at 65 minis and assorted extras for $100 (a tad over £60 at current exchange rates).

I may have to actually put in a pledge . Pros and cons of this Kickstarter Dakka members?

But seriously, the rules sound fun to play and deep with lots of options. The models are plentiful, a nice variety and should come out decent quality as it'll be Mantics third attempt at boardgame plastic. The expansions will give lots of playability out of the box, plus the random dungeon generation and full on RPG ability means it should be used for a long time to come. It's tied into the already existing world from Kings of War so should have substantial fluff.

It *is* boardgame plastic though so it'll have less detail than what we normally get, and as it's a kickstarter we're pledging for gak we don't know how it'll turn out.

Yeah I'm in at 201 but I may have to bump. Drop battle systems. I'd hate to but dunno, only so much to go around.

DM + crypts + galahir + black fortress + dragon, kind of want the KoW Abyssal Dwarfs since the golems and harpies are pretty usable anywhere. And the extra Halls of Dolgarth is quasi tempting.

I'm in for the DM plus all the expansions, along with whatever else a $300 pledge will get me. More furniture, extra doors, dice, whatever.
If I wasn't off on holiday next week I'd be in for more.

In for a dollar now, will probably hit $300 on pm but I need to save some cash for minion miniatures ks next week.

im pretty sure there'll be another stretch to come yet, maybe dragon hatchlings or eggs

If I were a betting man, I'd assume that there will be a $1M stretch goal, which is very reachable.
