Mine just got delivered in Va, unfortunately that's 2700 miles away. Been watching fedex delivery manager like a hawk and it slipped through using USPS. Which should have meant it was forwarded, now to figure out what went wrong there.

Mine was delivered yesterday.
I only got the basic pledge w/ the Black Plague cards and was surprised with the massive box sitting on my doorstep when I arrived home.

Put together this custom Grom card for Massive Darkness, at the request of one of my friends.

I found out mine was USPS and went online and changed the address when I tracked it. They never did forward it instead they used the mail forwarding so they had me have to pick it up at the post office. The postman wanted to charge me an extra $30 for it being forwarded and I told him that I went online and filled it out and that I tried to contact the vendor. He had sympathy for me so didn't charge me but if it gets forwarded expect to see about an extra $30.

It is amazing that I contacted CMON directly 3 months ago, way before they shipped anything and asked them to change my address which would have taken care of this situation from the beginning. So they only real person I have to fault is CMON. Since I had to move into a rental until my house is built and want to avoid this in the future I am going to avoid backing any of their stuff until after i move into the new house. It was too much work contacting the new house owner and making them aware, then fighting with the post office for something that could have or should have been an easy fix.

Now lets hope that all the other kickstarter addresses I had to change works prior to anything shipping.

Me too. Great service from CMON.

I've got all the mold lines off, two thin coats of primer, white basecoat and a wash - now to paint 171 (I think) models at once Really great sculpts (mainly), couldn't be happier with this KS.

Spoiler:

You are a stronger person than I. This may well be the first game with minis that I make no effort to paint. My backlog is just so huge. Which is a shame because I'm really enjoying MD and the minis are excellent. But I know how slowly I paint and how quickly my attention can be stolen.

I may give the different types of minis a quick spray in a certain color (red for heroes, green for orcs & goblins, etc) a la HeroQuest.

What primer do you find works best for board game minis ?

I used Vallejo acrylic-polyurethane surface primer, it's just the one I've got. I only used about 20ml of a 200ml bottle, brushing it on in 2 thin coats, and it definitely feels worth the effort, the surfaces take the basecoat so much better than bare PVC.

I'm not going to get hung up on labels - the miniatures for this *game* are amazing, and I'm going to attempt to try and do they justice and paint them up!

They have helped me become a better painter. Not great, but better as I learned three or four techniques for mass batch painting that I never bothered with before. I also have begun watching a bunch of YouTube videos to improve painting because of getting into zombicide 2 years ago. I think that line is well and gone, if people want to hold onto it, then good luck to them.

Oh they are great miniatures and will be lovely to paint, but because my painting queue is ginormous, more so now that on summer I stripped all my Infinity so I can repaint them in a more cohesive way, per faction, I have decided that boardgame style games will not get painted on the foreseeable future.

Keeps the madness down a bit.

I'm going to keep telling myself that I want to get these models painted up, but then not actually paint them for a variety of reasons. What I DID do, is take acrylic paint markers in different colors and paint the rims of the Bosses blue, the Agents green and the Roaming Monsters red. It make a huge difference and makes the Bosses/Agents much quicker to find.

The tentative plan is to pick a theme and build a scenario around that theme. The theme might be that the Lightbringers are attempting to recover an artifact from a Dwarven Stronghold. Only then will I pick mobs to paint. For the above theme, I'd paint up the 16x Warriors, 2x Warrior Bosses, 8x Defenders, 2x Defender Bosses and the Dwarf Agent. That's 29 Dwarf bad guy models to paint up. A level 5 Iron Golem would probably make for a great, thematic "Big Boss" for the scenario.

I might also do a Goblin/Ork delve with a Troll boss. There are a million opportunities for fan created content with this game.
