Didn't feel like working on the conveyor belt anymore tonight, but got another wild hair. This was quick, and though theirs not much to it, it will be nice scatter terrain for the factory floor.

Hopefully it looks good enough for government work.

You want more gadgets on it?
Okay

Also another part from the drop pod. This gives a grabber arm to sort incoming packages, and possibly to shove them onto an adjacent belt.

The end pieces are generic shapes, and thus not copyrightable (especially if part of a VERY distinct design different from their origin.)

Very cool.

Very cool! Now the Servo-skulls can build their own army!

I love the little machine along the line, the little sensor station is very realistic!

Thanks Dave and galorn, it's one of my many zany quick builds inspired by an oddball piece. I would just like to point out no servo skulls were injured in the building of this.....yet , though many ideas come to mind from the build. How flawed would an imperial postal service be???

Mark two didn't look good to me this morning, so....

Mark 3.0, it's skinnier, and a smooth belt instead of the tire tread looking one. Might be easier to cast if that would ever happen. Now to figure out the leg situation and to make risers and a similar control panel, just so I can say its 100% me. Probably make a few devices to fit over the belt at different spots on the line as well. All manned by servo skulls of course.

that drill/stamp machine looks really good... you seem to have hitherto unknown talent for these things... you should do more like this!

the new conveyor belts need more work on them to actually comment on...

only one thing i can add here... you totally convinced me with the tire tread (?) look... the smooth now looks a bit bland compared to the fist one...

I like the tire tread one as well vik, I think galorn believes its okay to duplicate them, I haven't had time to text him about it yet, so we'll see.

Also since I need a little humor in my life, I've decided to begin a not so regular servo skull comedy build. Kind of like a one panel cartoon you see in the Sunday paper. I must warn you.....characters in the build may or may not be based on people real or imaginary

Servo skull 1: "hey Theo I got you something, it's in the bottom of the box"
Servo skull 2: "thanks Dave!"....i don't see anything"
Servo skull 3: "it's really far down in there theo, keep looking"....."hee hee"
Servo skull 2: "vik is that you? Hey it's getting dark in here!"
Sound of tape dispenser in action.
Servo skull 4: "guys, what's the zip code for Armageddon?"
Servo skull 2: "I can't believe your in on this too Dr. H."

Later.....
Servo skull 2: "guys?.....is anybody out there?"

I'm glad this is going over well. I hope Dr. H doesn't feel like an old decrepit man who couldn't putter around anymore on his own suspensors unit. he has tracks since he is the workhorse, and needs the treads to carry his piles of sprue that he's carving into wood for the imperium carpenters union.

Would you even have fingers left after cutting that much sprue? Yes you are the red one, you are applying the postage address on the side of the box. Now I must find the appropriate miniature for the next episode.

There's been times when I wasn't sure I'd be left with the same fingerprints after the current hut...
I'm currently considering alternate ideas for the roof...?

you are applying the postage address on the side of the box.

Sounds like the sort of thing I'd do...

Although maybe this would have been what I would have chosen...

That belt is so realistic we have one just like it in the factory, great now my hobby reminds me of work

I love the workshop idea and the drill press has some great detail very impressive I thought I had subbed this ages ago but obviously not

I think I might have to borrow some of these ideas one day

I recycle everyone else's ideas, so feel free to recycle mine. As for joining work and fun time, it never hurts to make a model of the boss and make sure your gang beats him up occasionally. Just make sure not to post battle reports with his name, or if you have a work party at your place, make sure that model is tucked away.
