Subject: Archon Studios News and Rumours - MoTU GF 14 May, D&L 6 Caves late pledge/PM 25th June.
Oh, and if you have a wishlist for the next campaign (miniature focused) I'll be happy to hear it. A lot of it is probably gonna be stuff that's already been repeated here before so I may already have it written down, but if you have something that you feel strongly about, please feel free to repeat it.
Adding to my previous lists, I would like to see some properly done (when it comes to human body proportions) medieval looking, with not too much clothes and armour, skeletons with options for both melee and ranged combat. I would also like ghouls that are not bone fetishists like GW ones or zombie proxies like Mantic.

Lightly armed and armoured/unarmoured models with variety of masked/unmasked heads that could be bandits or cultists or assassin, would be nice to have.

New update on Caves on Gamefound with some new assets shown and another sprue tooled.
However a question for @Archon, a previous AMA mentioned some direct only products appearing on the website once the new one was up (stuff people have asked for but doesn't make sense for a retail release). I'm pretty sure that the new one is in place now, any update on the endeavour? (Personally hopping for the functional doors to show up somewhere somehow.)

It'll probably have to be next year, we already have so many campaigns planned for this year and we want to deliver Caves (or at the very least begin shipping) before we start a new campaign. We're hoping that it'll be our biggest campaign yet, although personally, I think it'll be quite difficult. We'll have to see how it goes ;D

I don't think we have any plans to reintroduce the functional doors at the moment, we've gone through 3 different iterations of the system and none of them have really worked the way we wanted it to. It's something that will likely be addressed in our next terrain campaign though!

That's a shame, as I'm guessing the next terrain campaign is unlikely to be fulfilled until 25 / 26 it looks like I'll have to be off to ebay then.

Honestly I wasn't even thinking of a specific game. You could play almost any RPG like DnD with modern or classic style monsters if you go hunting around for designs and sculpts that fit the design style you're after.

Same. His fist is closed and downward facing, not palm up and holding something. There's a lot of shadow painted in his collarbone which makes it look like an armpit, so maybe that's throwing people?

The ogre is a great model and the pose really isn't that distracting in the flesh. I think it's worth keeping in mind that if you freeze-frame a snapshot of just about any action, you can probably find a moment where it looks super awkward. Enough of my family photographs suggest this to be an irrefutable truth!
For me it's more bothersome that the pose extends past the ogre's personal space so much, and it makes positioning on a table very cumbersome. It can't face away from a terrain piece or structure or be charged in the back by other models without bonking into everything because his axe extends so far from center of mass.

The Ogre is better in hand I thought it looked odd in pictures and was going to alter it but once I built it I left it as designed, other than putting him on a 60mm base.
AMA - I've only skimmed it as I don't have time to watch the whole thing.
- PM might be delayed due to move
- Deep Caves might be in translucent plastic.
- Factory move meant tooling was down but design continues
- Gates and traps designed and laid out.
- Dwarf sprue laid out
- new mini concepts shown for a skirmish game in the Deuslair setting
and some renders and sprues from update #19 - hopefully the mushroom sprue gets added to the PM as a separate add on.

Subject: Archon Studios News and Rumours - MoTU GF 14 May, D&L 6 Caves late pledge/PM 25th June.
Confirmation that the PM is delayed 6 weeks until 6th of August due to both the relocation and the need to get prepaints finalised - no knock on effect on production and delivery other than legacy delivery which will now be 6th September.
After looking over your responses in the survey, we have decided to make one more sprue, which will be available as an addon - an elevation sprue so you can add verticality to your cave systems!
