My first posting so appologies if its a bit basic! I was at the Open day and have a few confirmed rumours, and 1 Gripe I'd share with everyone .....
Rumours
Plastic Baneblade
The Forgeworld guys I know 'unofficially confirmed' that they are already making add on parts and conversion pieces for the new plastic Baneblade.
40k Reaver Titan
Work is in progress. Carapace and mid section are complete. It won't be much taller than the current Warhound, and is based on the older version, not the Epic version Forgeworld have done. The legs will not articulate as much as the Warhound, and will be more like Cathederal Buttresses. Head will contain 3 crewm but there is an increase iun gun servitors. Weapons will be same as Warhound, plus the rocket Launcher initially. Expected Christmass 2007.
Chaos Super Heavy Bomber
Currently being worked on in Epic Scale. Time constrications may delay a 40k version.
Death Korps Tank
Can't remember what its called, but its not the new one in the new newsletter. Its a completly new tank, with a type of fortress bunker on the top, with loads of heavy bolters.
Tnzeetch Demon
Currently being worked on by some who doesn't work directly for GW or Forgeworld. The scetches I saw suggest that this figure has a bird type head, the wings are 130% the height of the body, and it will carry a staff. No estimate for completion.

And 1 Gripe
The painting competition was a rig. There was some stunning entries. The staff manning the stand had already picked out their winner. Most of the people there, had also picked out the same winner, including the guy who'd won. No disrespct, as he'd painted a very nice model (and it was, a model, now even a squad), but there were better entries. It just seems coincidence, that Forgeworld are pushing the sale of DKK, and what a surprise, a DKK model won the competition, much to the embarassment of some of the staff. I actually beleived, that Forgeworld were the last ray of hobbyists in the GW business. Now it seems that they too, have now left the hobby, and are firmly behind the business.

Anyway, if someone can tell me how to transfer the pics from my phone, to my PC, I'll post some pics !

secret - what phone do you have? much info on other new stuff and what other FW events are planned this year as i might have to head to them seems as i prob wont make GD!

Art is subjective. Judge that contest with different judges dozens times and each time and you'll get different results. Get over the "rigged" part.

I guess the tank (Malcador) is the one you were referring too with all the bolters mounted in the turret?

If they're talking about parts to make it Cadian, DKoK or another specific Regiment, no fear. I hope they don't make parts to turn it into a Marine Super Heavy.

Seriously though, of course GW is going to find a way for as many armies as possible to take one.

The other armies should buy one to turn into an objective marker, or something...

Thankfully I should be comfortably out of debt by the end of 2007, so maybe I'll treat myself.

What could it be? maby an imperial Leviathan muhhhhhhha!!!!!!!...that would be bbbbbiiiiiiigggggg

if not i would gess it would be based on the WWI german A7V or British Whippet
