Amazing conversions. I like the IG LC.
A bit off topic but I tell you it is truth and not a lie.
A friend of mine created the concept of lord Commisar.
He got a free LC out of it.
Not lying. If we where still on talking terms I could be able to show you proof.

I will be stripping this model later for a repaint, just got it quick painted so i can play it in a tourny.

It surprises me that your post received that type of reaction. I for one don't care either way so i was perfectly happy to just remain silent. The fact is....SOMEONE was responsible for inspiring that character in both literary terms and for the model. Is it so hard to believe that the person wouldn't have any friends who play the game? That those friends wouldn't be members of any one of the thousands of game sites out on the web?

While it would have been nice to have proof, said proof would have only served to have the rest of us "Ooooh and Aaaah". If you are the friend of the inspiration, Congrats.

My take on the Angel of Retribution (The Sanguinor) for my Homebrewed Chapter.



This is the Cloaked Head from a Ravenwing Sprue, the Lightning Claws of an Assault Terminator Pack, And the body and jump pack of a Sanguinary Guard.

The Rock on the base is a bunch of melted sprue bits.

I have to say though, I like your conversion. Reminds me a bit of Darth Maul, and hes the tits in my eyes.

I would be lying if I said I was inspired by the sith.
The inspiration hit me when I was flipping through the 40k 5th ed rulebook and saw an ork with something similar.

Here is one I am proud of.



This is a custom built Ork Fighter. I used a ME 262 model and a Tau Piranha to make the majority of it. You can also see some Stormboy rocket packs for boosters and various Ork bits left over from the Stompa and Battlewagon. There is also a ton of plastic card work. It was built for a local conversion contest which I won.

I actually just finished these guys. Nothing too special, but a simple and fun conversion nonetheless.

What did you use for the tank on the meltagunner there?

It's more that it's highly unlikely that the friend of a 20 year old in Illinois inspired a character type that has been around since at least Ibram Gaunt in 1999.

I really like your conversions, White Wolf, especially that melta! They might be pretty simple, but they're full of character nonetheless

The melta tank looks like a flamer tank split down the middle and attached to a cut down Vox. Simple, elegant and effective, my favourite kind of conversion

Yup, Flinty hit the nail on the head. Saves on the money too. Thanks for the complements I have yet to figure out how to convert a plasma gun tho :(

Looks like it's got the fuel lines off the bottom of the flamer tank on the bottom of the vox too. Really clean work!

My Death Guard Lord/Sorcerer, depending on the mood I'm in. I painted him up a few years ago (for the last codex) but I'm still really happy with the way he turned out.

i made a conversion like that for my Dark Angel Company Master
i think it would be cool to make an entire army like that but it would b pretty expencive.

WIP DP for my biomechanical Iron Warriors drawing heavily on the Obliterator techno-virus idea. I'm sure someone will hate on the mish mash of parts from 3 races, but whevs. Its gonna be my best work to date.
