What is the length and width of a Thunderhawk gunship?

What is the length and width of a Stormraven gunship?

Inches only please

Well, Good luck with that, UAC. I hope it goes well for you.

I am BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully over the next two days I will stand up 12 warhounds, three Reavers and the body and wings of a thunderhawk.

I know, I know....

I have said these things before.

On top of all this I am getting ready for a tourney this weekend that has over 200 dollars in prizes AND the weekly FNM and Modern tourneys at my FLGS.

I will be running a dual lash list that has the potential to run away with the tourney. I am hoping no one brings any Stormravens.....

Ok, so where I stand.....

So let me do some math here: with a few assumptions (like titans take the same amount of time to build, and you don't require any sleep) that leaves 3.2 hours for each titan

Direct Observation of the actual models. It was a bear. I know mine aren't 100% accurate but they will look good. I am hoping this is the absolute last Titan build I do. I know I won't need anymore....

I think the reaver is the only one that I did not get hands on time with a real FW model in order to plan.

Well, see thats the question. I want them to be Knight world Knights but with a newer feel. I kinda liked where Silver was going with his but i think I am gonna need them to be a little bit more imposing.

What are your thoughts. After all, if they get bought, then they will be commercially available and player feedback in a model has always made them better.

mxwllmdr wrote:I can't wait to start the Knight set.

That sound rather exciting! Where does one find stats for a Knight? I've asked many, many folks and no one can give me an answer. Are they just fluffy?

BTW, shouldn't you be building titans instead of rambling on Dakka?

Honestly, If I were you, I'd design the Knight as pre-Heresy..that way when GW releases more official Knight kits (and you know they will, b/c marines are not OP enough already ) yours will not be obsolete.

Rawson, they introduced Knights in the Horus Heresy Novels, then they released a kit for the latest Grey Knights codex. More are definately coming from GW.

Theres rules for knights in a bols apoc supplement, as well as tempus fugitives admech codex. I personally use the admech version, more balanced imo.

I subscribe to the school of thought that knights should be around 6-7". When i made my warden thats what i aimed for. I dislike the ones that almost hit warhound height.

bigdaddy made some awesome knights a while back, which looked pretty damn cool.

It's actually a pretty cool kit IMHO. They aren't sarcophagaii like Dreadnoughts, regular guys pilot them like a sentinel, but they have the neuro impulse controls like a titan.

I agree on the height thing, too, Vit, but fluff puts them around 8-9". which is just short of 2 or so inches short of a warhound. But 6-8 makes sense in the Dreadknight sort of way. Problem is wiht the knights the pilot is completely enclosed. Not strapped like a baby in a harness to the front. this would lead one to believe that the kngihts had to be a bit bigger than dreadknights because all that cockpitting around the pilot makes for bulk and there is no seemingly unneccesary bulk around the knights I have seen produced. Hence, an obviuosly larger frame and therefore stature. So that proportions are accurate....
