Slowly the undead push the Federation back but then the full length of thier ploy is revealed, crude explosive devices have been shoved into the ribcages of your warriors.

Your eyes would have widened if you had any but you realise that the enemy are charging again, before they rech you the explosives detonate creating massive gaps in your front line just as the enemy close

Expecting that globlet to just be blood i let it hit me, and move towards the warlock...

The globbet hits you, and it is indeed blood, but it burns like it was made of fire, it gets into your armour wraps over your arms, covers your skin and it Burns

AARGH!! The pain is crippling I drop to one knee overwhelmed. But the pain turns to anger and fuels rage, warriors in a rage equals bad juju. With nashing teeth I stand and though the pain is nearly blinding I set my focus on the warlock, I scream with a fury born of pain and leap at the warlock, thinking that to end him will end the pain and bring relief...

good to see you to brother.this is aurella. as you can see i am blood bonded to her. it is a long story but i can tell it sometime. i would like to know why there are so few men around. and i must also warn you that we are being followed by demons.

As my vision and mind clear from the searing, burning pain; I look down at the corpse of the warlock. It appears to be decaying rapidly. The result of many years interacting with the dark powers had extended his life but now the effects of time that were held at bay are now taking their due payment. I look around to see if any of the deamons remain...

(Proto) You head to the smithy and talk to the blacksmith there, to your surprise he is already constructing some but you think that a smaller crossbow with a faster feed maybe more efficient than his large bolt thrower, you begin to get to work

(Eckeon) The daemons are all dissapearing even as you look around

Ok brother its fine. I want aurella to see something. I walk to the vault and wait till aurella is next to me then i open him and let her see the vault with some of the jewels.
(Marta it would really be nasty if the lib stole everything. But i guess not XD)

With the threat dissipating, I look for my squad and the city leaders to assess damages and casualties, and then hopefully we can move on to another area.
