Yeah i've just seen the leaked price list. £45 for the fellowship, £15(!) for Haldir's elves,the stalkers and grey company, £8 for Celiborn £10 for Halbarad and Kardush, £12 for Faramir. There goes my plans for a BC of Haldirs elves then.

For those wondering about why a few of the Made To Order items are for models that are not currently available (Cirdan, Kardush, Stalkers) instead of just alternate poses (the rest)

Frankly, I feel they need to focus on getting some plastic characters for Evil into production instead of it all being FW.

I guess this links back to GW struggling for warehouse/storage space and it's plans to expand this capacity ASAP.

It's a shame though that everything is so expensive on made to order.

I'm willing to wait until I've seen a few painted up outside of GW before I fully judge the model....but it isn't a promising likeness so far!

Ah, the trolls are out and active i see. Bare plastic and a proper paintjob, such is the case with Pippin. Don't waste everyone's time with poor trolling attempts.

I only have one problem with the new Eowyn: . There a none on the horse version and two on the foot models.
After seeing how well they managed this with prior models like Theoden, it is a little disappointing.

I don't think she had one when she was riding. She picked it up when she dismounted to face off thw Witch King.

They use the Eastern timezone, meaning they go up at 1pm Eastern on Saturdays.

There is usually a 5-10 minute window one way or the other(sometimes they're up at 1250/1255 sometimes as late as 105/110) for the stuff to go up.

There are so many things here I “need”...

I'm looking forward to seeing some reviews of the new Battle Companies rules. The older version seemed to be received well enough, so maybe the Mordheim players at the local shop may want to try it.

The Battle Companies may have changed more than we think. For instance Palace Guards and Mirkwood Rangers are being sold among the "one box" solutions on the product page, whereas Mirkwood Elves (the pricey resin ones) used to make up the bulk of Thranduil's Halls BC.

I am glad GW is pulling the rug out from under the scalpers again, They can clearly see there is demand already ordered 2 packs of stalkers and 2 packs of rangers

Trying to decide on the Faramir sculpt. Can anyone point to a good painted example of it? All I can find via Google is the sole shot on the website and a few really low Res ones. Nothing that screams 'buy me'!

These will be handy. I'm bummed that some Battle Companies call for such rare models though. Moria Goblins needing Prowlers and Blackshields for advancements when you can't even find ebay gouged ones, is just one of a surprising amount of examples.

Where are you seeing lists for the battle companies to know what models will be included in each?

The BC book that came out less than 18 months ago, I imagine.

Nope. My new one was delivered today. At a glance existing companies seem identical to the previous edition which means loads of out-of-print models.

they wont be out of print for long though, it looks like GW is getting its act together and producing again

Also, fun fact on this. Apparently the MTO's have been so popular, that any orders placed after Wednesday have had the dispatch time increased to 49 days to give them time to deal with the backlog of orders. So that's very pleasing to hear.
