Sounds like a noisy cricket

Check out the comments section on this post. It contains so many things that I hate about the internet, and it makes me appreciate Dakka.

In a Society in which there is no law, and in theory no compulsion, the only arbiter of behaviour is public opinion. But public opinion, because of the tremendous urge to conformity in gregarious animals, is less tolerant than any system of law. When human beings are governed by "thou shalt not", the individual can practise a certain amount of eccentricity: when they are supposedly governed by "love" or "reason", he is under continuous pressure to make him behave and think in exactly the same way as everyone else.

I SURVIVED!!!! I survived the unslaught of insanity.

A few choice moments opf my republican cousin's political insights:

"The health care bill has euthnisa in it."
"The IRS is really here to put mind control chips in us."
"Obama s not an American citizen."

Thank God, thank God Almighty that my parents took pity on me and managed to find a way to get me out of most of her rants.

Yup. Get this: She is currently unemployed, and has no health care. I would think she'd won't the bill to pass so she doesn't die of something, right?

But NOOO, can't let America become a Socialist nation with this bill, so she has to do everything to avoid it.

Well, anyone want to hear an interesting and exciting story about my life......

As it turns out, I'm perhaps more like my avatar than I thought. Today was spent on an epic trek after my neighbor's FETHING CAT! Sorry, but I hate that cat. Well, after using every one of my...."unique" tracking skills, I finally cornered it at a rather large tree. You know how they say a cornered animal fights twice as hard? Wel, its true. After twenty minutes of me trying to grab it, and it scratching me in various places, our little duel was sadly broken up by my freind Zelda (who, love her though I do, does not seem to understand that sometimes to be a man you have to engage a kitten in battle), when she of course took the bloomin' cats side. Our conversation went something like this:

Zelda: "What the feth are you doing?"
Me: "Bloody...cat...must..go..."
Zelda: "Its just a helpless animal!"
Me: "Its an evil genius! Look at it! It's plotting against me!"
Zelda: *sigh* "You're paranoid."
Me: "You're annoying."
Zelda: "Maniac."
Me: "Furry."
Zelda: "Iron hand."
Me: "Sympathiser."
Zelda: "Want to go get some lunch?"
Me: "Sure."

Actually, that wasn't that interesting was it ? Ah well.

I find that only slightly less disturbing. I alos find irony in this. In my Fine Arts Class, we have to make paper mache sculptures. Guess who got a scorpion as their project?

I guess I'm just freaked out by an animal that has that many ways to kill something.

You know, as an ACTUAL socialist, I really hate it when people call Obama one. That healthcare plan is as socialist as my cat.

Gathering the Informations.

Trying to find rolls of "Parafilm" for sale after lengthy discussion with Kow Yokoyama(of Machinen Krieger fame) and some other hardcore modelers. Want to try it with airbrushing.

Problem with finding it?
Classified as "scientific/medical" usage so the vendor doesn't . While Amazon stocks the stuff, the pictures are all the same and I can't figure out which ones are the plain rolls by themselves and which are the precut small sheets.
