not sure about equipment, but info is out on that too

Can't we be adults and write points costs out?

Stormwolf - 215
Stormfang - 220

And most of the info is in the first post.

As the post count indicates, I'm new to rumormongering, as is my source. Releasing things a bit at a time was what they wanted. Since everybody is hungry for details and 'credibility' though, I pressed them to give me everything they've got. Here it is:

Stormwolf - Fast Attack - Points = Land Raider minus 35
BS4 - F12 S12 R12 HP3 - Vehicle (Flyer, Hover, Transport)

Wargear:
Twin-linked helfrost cannon
Twin-linked lascannon
Two twin-linked heavy bolters - May be replaced with a Skyhammer launcher for free, or two twin-linked multi-meltas for 20pts
Ceramite Plating

Special Rules:
Assault Vehicle
Power of the Machine Spirit

Transport:
Transport Capacity - sixteen models
Fire Points - none
Access Points - One ramp at the front of the hull

Stormfang Gunship - Heavy Support - Points = Land Raider minus 30
BS4 - F12 S12 R12 HP3 - Vehicle (Flyer, Hover Transport)

Wargear:
Helfrost destructor
Two twin-linked heavy bolters - May be replaced with a Skyhammer launcher for free, or two twin-linked multi-meltas for 20 pts
Two Stormstrike missiles - May be replaced with a twin-linked lascannon for 15 pts
Ceramite Plating

Special Rules:
Power of the Machine Spirit

Transport:
Transport Capacity - six models
Fire Points - none
Access Points - One at rear of the hull

Helfrost cannon
dispersed - R24" S6 AP3 Heavy 1, Helfrost, Blast
focussed - R24" S8 AP1 Heavy 1, Helfrost

Helfrost destructor
dispersed - R24" S6 AP3 Heavy 1, Helfrost, Large Blast
focussed - R24" S8 AP1 Heavy 1, Helfrost, Lance

Helfrost - If a model suffers one or more unsaved wounds from this weapon, it must pass a separate Strength test for each wound suffered or be removed from play

It's the sled. Matches the artwork, surprisingly, THere should be a second wolf.

Front part looks like a viking long boat, but the back kinda morphs into a grav lift/jetbike thing

The teaser has it broken apart in art work segments, another poster noticed it and I helped glue it together. It has a Space wolf Banner attached to the ass end of the sled.

Look at my 1 gallery image.

But it's not even Christmas yet.

Christmas brought early by GW. (Or at least that's what the GW execs are hoping for I'm guessing)

I actually really like the idea of Logan Claus (Space wolf Chariot drawn by Wolves) even better than I like thunderwolves.

Although, I am sad they didn't go with Thundergoats (Thor's chariot was drawn by Goats)
Spoiler:

Logan on a mechanical six legged horse would have been acceptable as well.

WallaceMerrett wrote:I know we're going from garbled images here but does it appear to have propulsion engines? Regular wheels would be a little odd and it looks, (at least to me), to be hovering i.e. the Fenrisian Wolves/Thunderwolves are providing the momentum but the chariot itself is suspended by grav technology, (akin to the thrusters on the Stormwolf/Stormclaw). For me, this is how I hope it is modelled, (with only two Fenrisian Wolves on a 60mm base, or two Thunderwolves on a large round base). At a long shot this would perhaps also confer the Skimmer rule, (Jink if not also Heavy). Although the wolves of both varieties are not slowed by difficult terrain I think it would be rather unlikely to have a Chariot that can end it's turn on top of impassable terrain such as a mountainside... I'd settle for the propulsion look without the Skimmer rule, (especially if Logan/Wolf Lord becomes stranded upon being Immobilised or Wrecked with no ranged weapons and no way to disembark).

I know Chariots are few and far between, but outside of the Necron Ever-Living SR, does any other Chariot unit have a model that can survive the destruction of the Chariot itself, i.e. a rule that suggests on say, a 4+ the character is safely ejected from the chariot, hurtled D6 in a random direction (scatter), suffers a S6 hit, (saves allowed), and then counts as a separate Infantry model for the rest of the game, (on the roll of a 1/2/3 the character is destroyed alongside the Chariot).

Totally going to count my outlandish and uninformed wishful thinking as foresight... called it.

WOw, those collectors editions are gawd awful, nice packaging but thats it. I mean reallyfor 250$ thats all you get, 75$+ for one additional book?

EDIT:

I mean they could make it so much better if with all limited edition and collectors editions they come with a limited run codex cover figure. The main focus of each cover has a actual limited urn model. that'd be great.

~ dreadnauights are purty though

That's a TON of stuff on the Dread kit! Looks like it comes with 1left arm with separate hands and then 2 right arms with swappable guns and the other claw. Also many front pieces in there as well.

Looks like choose your own front-plates and head too, so you can skip the murderfang head, if you choose.

That's odd, the Plasma Cannon and Lascannons were featured in the previous pictures of the Venerables if memory serve; safe to assume the other Dread kit weapons are interchangeable? Obviously doesn't matter if those options have been removed from the Codex but assumedly not.

I imagine the options are still there, but yes, the kit looks interchangeable with other dread kits.

I'm thinking of picking up a few cheap dread bodies to use with my Ven Dread kit.
