[clarification] "No reason at all, I'm just going about my day." - Yet you have been preparing for this your whole life? An error in logic surely?

My machine brained friend, I would think he mean's he prepared for the trip his whole life, which human like us or other wise would be true. And that before the Captain was found he was going about his business.

[self correction] an error on my own part then - apology extended.

[query] I have however enquired into why you have prepared to head for the birthplace of our species?

Yes, why are you travelling to the birthplace of the Most Glorious God-Emperor, Holy Terra?

I have knowledge little beyond what any of us here, save the ones that killed the Captain, do about the murder. I've no real idea why it was committed, I have a theory, but that is all. As for who is next I haven't the foggiest, sure another theory or two. And with these unknowns there is a slight measure of fear, but do I let it control me? Most certainly not.

Who is it that falsely claims to be of the cloth? Manchu? Yes, his claim to have given up his job in the Arbites to become 'priestly' seems hard to swallow, but if the Emperor guided him so be it. I turn to him for fellowship based off his claimed past, he seems to fit the bill for an Arbites and thus far I've no reason to think other wise. Like I've little reason to question Stubby or even Valhallan. You how ever, I don't know anything thing about, even if its but a lie. Eventually one of us will discover the truth, and with a bit of luck and guidance from the Emperor perhaps it won't be too late.

It is often said the first answer regardless of being premature is often a correct one. I thank you for your tact and honesty in these dark times. So Manchu you say?

Manchu what say you good sir? What was your last job and when did you realize your calling?

"Definition: 'Love' is making a shot to the knees of a target 120 kilometers away using an Aratech sniper rifle with a tri-light scope. Statement: This definition, I am told, is subject to interpretation. Obviously, love is a matter of odds. Not many meatbags could make such a shot, and fewer would derive love from it. Yet for me, love is knowing your target, putting them in your targeting reticle, and together, achieving a singular purpose, against statistically long odds." ~ HK-47

"You are welcome my dear Sir, but please forgive me for this interruption, Manchu has stated his previous history as a member of the Adeptus Arbites, and when he turned from it. As of yet we have yet to hear who you are or what it is you do and how you came to be among us on this ship."

"Would you care to enlighten us?" I bring arms up and cross them over my chest looking curiously over the man before me, nothing seems too out of the ordinary.

Dark Lord Seanron wrote:[Initial Analysis] Lord of Ghost seems two-dimensional in sense of character, and the culprit would require tact and cunning, two character factors he seems to lack.

[further analysis] Dark_Oblit8er however, is highly suspicious. His constant hysteria, coupled with an inconsistent back-story, plus his adoption of an almost child like dependence and fear is likely to be masking a more sinister purpose.

[query] Valhallan42nd, do you pertain any knowledge or facts on Dark_Obliter8er? As the ranking adept here, I would like to hear what your views on the matter is [end query]

Dark_Obliterator's records have been corrupted, as have Manchu's records. The attempts were crude, but effective. No one else's have been touched. I suspect a red herring to throw us off the scent.

I am still concerned by Lord of Ghost's mention of a connection to "Hive Fleets" that he has yet to explain. Both Stubbs and I were shocked to hear him say so.

This is no time for humor, sir.

I was also very shocked at his comments. But I am still unsure whether he is just addle-brained or truly heretical.

I shall hold my vote a touch longer. Too many stories seem suspect at best and I would rather the evil amongst us sweat over where people will cast their votes. The guilt and the stress will hopefully lead to them making a slip and allowing us to purge them.

I agree that we have time to wrinkle this out. Our logic and reason are our best weapons against this menace.

Even if he is not a Xenos, we cant have such a scrambled brain person withour ranks, he will distract from the real threat.

I agree with you in principle, but we cannot allow the xenos to gain the upper hand. Should he turn out to be human, we will not be lax in punishing his heresy after this threat is ended.

Still, his silence is damning him.

*Ponders to himself aloud*

Should we be more concerned about the "obivious" few that have raised suspicions or the ones quietly hiding in the shadows trying to go unnoticed?

EDIT: fail spelling of "unnoticed"

[analysis] by weeding our collectives numbers, we make it easier for our foe to unite and overwhelm us.

[conclusion] his apparent madness aside, the subject has not shown any of the atypical signs of guilt or xenos-colusion. More likely he is (loading euphamism) 'attention seeking'

Hmm... I did say at the time that him wanting to remove the body, and thus the evidence, was a little weird. However, drk_oblitr8r seems to me to be a far more likely suspect.

The Emperor protects.

Aye. We must be wary indeed, brothers. However, this could be a clever plot on the of Gornall and BrotherStynier, trying to save their fellow cultist.
