They're meant to be bright. I painted a second unit back when eFeora had the spell
Blazing Aura. I intended for them to look like they were on fire or something.

Anyway, I started on some Khador with this batch.

Was there much work in assembling them, mal? They're a unit I'm considering once I get to 50% of my Merc figures painted.

This may take a little while, as I'm currently at 28% painted of 124 figures, though this'll shift a bit when I finish off the stuff I part-painted for the ETC.

The Devil Dogs? No. Two or three pieces per model, if I recall correctly.

Welcome back. It's good to see your work again.

Have you tried using ogryn flesh wash for your oranges? In my opinion it seems to work a better than red because the dark areas look dark orange and not red.

Models looking good and volume completed is still awe inspiring.

Thanks. Once I figure out which Vallejo ink corresponds to GW inks (mostly because I already
have a bunch of them) I'lll give that a try.

However, the easiest answer I have is to say that I mostly use Vallejo Sepia and Vallejo
Brown inks. If I can't think of anything else to buy, I pick up more ink.

The Butcher's looking good, mal - Strakhov looked a little grainy to me, for some reason.

Out of interest, and so I can track my progress, how many more non-terrain pieces do you have to post?

I think 40 or so.

Strakhov is fine except for his face. I think that might be primer and me
being too lazy to fix it.

Was wondering if those are green ( looks almost like olive ish )

Nope, Vallejo Cold Grey with Vallejo Sepia, if I recall correctly (and I should figure
it out. I'm wrong on some more Khador right now).

Haha. Yeah. Again, that's a guess.

I'd get more of these Berserkers for a sweet blow up your own Berserker list, but then I'd
be stuck with multiples of these 'jacks with this pose. Better I should expand my army
elsewhere rather than get stuck playing that game.
