The white color scheme is my favorite so far , by a lot.

Do you give them matt varnish though? most of them look very glossy

It's actually Cold Grey highlighted up to Stonewall Grey.

And all my minis are glossy. I use a clear satin spray on purpose because I don't like
not knowing which minis are done and which aren't.

I've got to say, mal, that I'm not keen on the paintjob on the TFG UA - but 'tis cool that you're getting your nephew to paint

Thanks, tacobake. Really I'm just digging up all the stuff I'm not going to do and
letting them paint those models.

It's cool. I realized that painting them to look on fire would take more than
a reverse highlighted paintjob, but the unit attachment is meant to go along with
a unit back when eFeora had the Blazing Aura spell.

I'm just about to start a Defender and a full unit of Sward Knights (plus UA), to try and keep up with my goal of half your painted figures

Oh, trust me. I have not yet begun to paint.

So I head - but 13 more finished models will take me to 61 for the year, meaning I'd be OK until you'd posted 122 painted figures.....

And that's excluding the 2-3 entries I want to do for our painting comp, and the minis I intend to paint for my mum's birthday, which add another 5-6 in total.

Thanks, I really enjoy making scenery.

These ones aren't home-made, but at least they're hand-painted.

Wow just checked out your blog, and its very big and full of character. really like your imagination and , your style shows through in your work " painterly and colourfull" you have a lot of stuff going on in here, do find it hard to concentrate on one project! i know i do.

Thanks.

Me painting lots of different things IS me "concentrating on one project." The project
is called "Paint lots of different things." By setting army ADD as a goal, I don't feel bad
when progress on any single one army stalls. I start something else and come back to
the original project when I feel ready.

Some pieces DO set themselves up as singular goals, however, such as the Avatar/
Guardian models that are in progress below:

and playability will be an issue.
