Yeah, couldn't remember so I spelt it phonetically
Character: Sgt. Slavro
Location: Landing pad
Situation: Locating team
@Furn
Some set of lungs on her, thought Slavro. 'Indeed. LZ's expected to be hot, as long as your competent enough, stay on the gun. You in squad Fallen, you answer too me. I tell you to do something, it better already be done. Understand?'
She seemed like she knew what she was doing, he watched her practice cocking and reloading and seemed as proficient as Kelly.
'We will be departing shortly, get whatever you need now, you wont have a chance later.'
@ The space marine bros
The astartes loomed over Slavro. He didn't flinch at all. He knew how they acted towards any guardsman. A test, intimidate them to find any fear. It would not work on Slavro. He has seen marines before, even fought them, he doesn't give easy.
His eyes never left Ronans, 'Glad too hear it' he said as he saluted immaculately again. 'We will be leaving soon, I trust the both of you are prepared. Expect contact upon arrival'
With nothing left too say, and not wishing to irritate them with unnecessary chat, Slavro turned and walked back towards the lads.

Nah, I wanted to give all those baddies a chance. After all, he could win this game in three minutes using only a wet sock and a potato.

Character: Mikal
Location: Shrine
Situation: Making mission preparations
Mikal again found himself in the same position as earlier, standing in quiet meditation and analysis, chattering litanies to the Machine god in binary, quietly. The incense candles burned dimly in the dark room. Finally done, Mikal again opened his eyes and breathed the scented air deeply. He turned and walked from the room, wordlessly heading towards the chapel.
There was still one more piece of obeisance he had to make before this mission started...Out of all the habits that Mikal made a point of, this one was by far the strangest among his kind. It was definitely a shock for the guardsmen the first time Mikal had walked into a chapel service by the regimental chaplain in dedication to the Emperor. Mikal entered the service room quietly, where he saw Avare and several others already there. Mikal was content to stand to one side of the room, he didn't want to interrupt any conversation or draw any strange looks. But there was a second reason to Mikal's appearance in the room. He wanted to see just what kind of servant of the Emperor Avare was. He figured he already knew, but much could be learned about a person by observing how they made their own obeisance as well...
Mikal determined he would find an empty pew when the service started, and would only move into the room any further if someone noticed him or spoke to him, it was better that way everyone else could concentrate on the Emperor and the flesh machine hybrid in the corner of the room.

Just wait for him to do it then. If there's anything you need to post but can't because of timeline shenanigans, PM EF and he can just work it into his posts/events.

I know, it's just a little frustrating since I've messed up my own timeline, I should be in the chapel, but I didn't realize that EF and the other guardsmen would be in the chapel when the rest were getting ready to leave for the mission.
So... I placed myself from the chapel to waiting, but in actuality, I am in the chapel, but in my post, I'm already in the future. But I'm not, since we're technically in my past.
Anyway, I'm sure I've broken the space-time continuum somewhere.. but what the hey, if I destroy the universe, at least DakkaDakka would survive.

My dear Snarky, it was Dakka that created the universe by causing the big bang, and it will quite happily do so again even if you have just inadvertently destroyed the universe.

My friend, the codex rules mean very little in the world of roleplaying. Here things are as tough as they're meant to be.
Here, a Chaplain will happily jump into a Platoon of Guardsmen and beat them all to death.

Hehe, I've actually been close to making this point myself several times!
If you ask me, being religious is about more than just sitting in a Church (or equivalent) for over an hour listening to the priest (or equivalent) drone on about religious teachings and stuff. Don't get me wrong, there's things to be learned from this, but there's better things to be done in that time in the majority of cases.

Thing is, EF deems that a regular space marine with power armour as excessive, a Chaplain with full battle gear will absolutely destroy our enemies. Seeing as we're all just little guys, fodder troops and non-combatants, a hero level player would just unbalance everything.
