That's the way the ball bounces.

Also, Holy Kershaw!

I will also agree with Holy Clayton Kershaw Batman!!... even though there were a couple pitches that definitely were called wrongly in his favor....

Also, is it just me, or are the lights at Wrigley ONLY on the home plate side of the park? The outfield, and outfield facing shadows on the players is a bit wonky for TV viewing.

The Tribe are red hot. Thanks in no small part to Andrew Miller and his cheat code enabled slider. Seriously, that thing is insane.

Well Jays forgot how to hit. Maybe they'll win one game this series....avoid the sweep.

I remind my Yankee friends daily.

Then they remind me of 2011...and everything since then. LOL

Feth that noise... I'm sick and tired of those whiney arses the Jays have.... sweep them outta here

At the very least, it'd give us more time to enjoy some real October baseball in the Dodgers and Cubs

Jays battled their way out of a September slump that nearly cost them a spot in the ALDS (from first place in August), and now they're just sliding right back into it.

So terrible. I wouldn't mind them getting beaten in big games, but these little under 10 run total games are not the kind of ball we've been used to seeing them play all year.

That's playoff baseball though - you've got to be able to win those close ones/pitchers duels...

Totally agree, just annoyed they aren't playing to their potential. Cleveland has great pitching, but the Jays have done well against their full pitching staff this season and on top of that they're 3 men short.

Dodged the sweep at least.

Seems like Cleveland is running out of pitching finally. If the Jays had won just 1 other game I would say they would win this series but they dug the hole as deep as possible before they started hitting.

Party at Napoli's. He's got the scoring going early in Toronto.

And good-bye Jays. I really thought the momentum would have carried them to the Championship.

Go Cubs!

Same.

Glad they did it in Toronto as well.

As much as I thought Jays momentum would carry them to the Series, it's nice to know that jerk-off beer can throwing Jay's fan will now be sitting out the festivities.

GO CUBS!!!!

A Cubs v Indians WS will be heart break city, no matter who wins. Still got to get through the Dodgers though.

Was listening to a tiny bit of game 5 yesterday, and apparently they had some kind of wall jumping fan event during the game. Of course, the XM feed I was listening to must have been the Cleveland feed because of the commentator reactions

Javier Baez absolutely must be the Cubs MVP, should they win this series... This guy has made so many just utterly ridiculous plays in this series.

It's been long enough. 71 years is quite a while in sports history.

H.B.M.C.- The end hath come! From now on armies will only consist of Astorath, Land Speeder Storms and Soul Grinders!

Frazzled- I don't generally call anyone by a term other than "sir" "maam" "youn g lady" "young man" or " HEY bag!"
Ruin- It's official, we've ran out of things to talk about on Dakka. Close the site. We're done.

Well, since it's Cubs and Indians, I might just watch, if only for the fact that one team will be ending its long drought.

I'm super happy for the Cubs. But super sour. Kyle Hendricks...traded by my Rangers in 2012 for Ryan Dempster...

Ugh.

It'll be good for either team to win.
