Thanks Oshii, the base model is a Tamiya 1/48 Abrams, with bits from Crooked Dice (Scooter and some stowage), TT Combat, Tiny Furniture and Ramshackle Games.

Thank you for info, 1/48 fits perfectly for 28(32)mm models indeed.
I was watching your blog here from a long time, you are doing really great work, it's very inspiring not only for me I think.

Brilliant work on that Abrams! All those details really tell a story. My favorites are the scooter and that Vault-Tec box.

I can't decide between the tug and the scout as which one is the best in the bunch, so tug wins (it always does). Very nice and balanced mix of paint, panel lining and weathering!

Great scenery, although same base color adds here to the MDF problem of "everything has the same thickness". But that's just my envy speaking.

Second radar, also from Uncertain Scenery (the tower was made by someone else but I can't remember who). Again MDF, tethered using salt and hairspray plus oils and powders.

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

Well you've certainly done them justice in their new roles. The whole junktown setup is totally amazing. And rusty. But mostly amazing. Which is amazing in itself given the sheer amount of rust

Just starting to think about how to incorporate the hangar into a larger board, so I hope so, but it's quite a big undertaking.

This blog is utterly amazing. I just read every post start to finish and I’m blown away. My jaw is still hanging open. There were several times that I thought you were posting a photograph of a real world object to use as inspiration only to realize it is your model! I can’t compliment you enough. This is some of the best stuff I have ever seen on dakka.
I hope someday you will show us photos of the fully completed Junktown all together.
