Aye, even my expenditures have been cut short, hence why the less expensive imports and the home built designs!

First month after I started I spent way too much money....then this month I spent too much money... Hopefully coming month I'll be able to cut back to tolerable.

I am on a freeze for most things, other than glue and paints as needing replacements, and even then, gotta be careful.

What is nice about Vik's Tank is how inventive he has been with materials lying around his place, and recycling the materials like cereal boxes!

well I hadn't spent money on 40k in a while, so in the past few weeks I've spent around £35 on the killa kans and Viktor Croaks.

and i never yet did use cereal cardboard...i use college block cardboard...way better^^ and styro which is way more expensive than anybody thinks...

as for budgets...well originally my wife did shoot some 100+- euros free to start a small force to play with my oldest son... then things kind of developed by itself and now i am sitting on a fortune of minis and suplies....i am far an angel myself...i live constantly wayyyyy over a non existing budget and even this gets sometimes overrun by my biddings...but to tell you a truth... i am a hunter and gatherer at ebay... i have a reasonable ork force still untuched...some remarably usefull yet unused nids... aplenty of SM and an evergrowing shocking amount...(whats the superlative of heap? mountain???^^) of count as imperial forces...and yet when i see at fridays at ebay something my hands get all sweaty and my finger is on the trigger/mousebutton...dang i am sooooo low on selfcomposing....

this is also true, i am a miser when it comes to use materials...i tend to use VA for almost any task at hand... that stuff works on everything!!! and when i get lucky cardboard fits the bill quite nicely...i could probably achieve much more if i wasn´t sometimes for my lazyness...and computer games and of course posting on dakka...sad but true...^^

I hear you on the bidding front...my Squat Bikers cost me a lot more than I was planning for.....

@Shrike - Nah, my actual name is Jeroen Barto, english version for the first is Hieronimous, like Hieronimous Bosch (the painter who was obviously exposed to the Warp). I just added on my last name to make it sound more posh and regal.

cool... dutch is a heck of a difficult language... even tho i could probaly with a bit of strain understand it...^^ as for my ears it is a mixture of english and german parts...

thier food, thier football team (as soon as england get knocked out of the world cup, I'm rooting for them) and dutch people tend to be cool.
the reason I love the team is that you are one of the best international teams out there, yet every game get underestimated and are therefore the underdogs.
that 4-1 win they scored against france a while back, oh wow...

at least from what i heard they tend to be quite open minded...but they have skinheads there too so i think they are just avearage people there as here... and for the foot the ball team of theirs...well i never liked football...al footbal related discussions on shrikes thread now^^
