Helghast are indeed from a game. Namely KillZone....and they are depicted as being somewhat futuristic space nazi's of sorts. Not exactly the most lovely of backgrounds, but they do look way cool.

thats the thing with nazis anyway... they are crap... but you have to grant them they look the sharpest while doing atrocities...horrible truth... and i say this with a great grandfather that was in auschwitz...
there is something about a black clad officer...that old gemran WWII helmet and these boots...somehow you feel lower when you see these peeps... the designers knew their stuff when they made the uniforms...

j3r03n - Sorry, didn't see that there Some good stuff there, and found another company begging for my credits (Scotia Grendel). But vik is right, you should throw some of it up on here, if everybody posts on Dakka it makes it so much easier for us to keep track of everything

vik - look at the troopers in my chaos blog, most of those are cadian torso's on catachan legs with the belt chopped off. Alternatively, just make sure they have plenty of gear on their belts.

to say the least...have you looked into wargames factory stuff for your army as well? in your blog i got you a link of an ebay seller that even sells arms seperatly and even heads...tho i have the german eads now about over a dozen now...
there are cthulu heads as well in these sprues... you could use those for psykers and such like models...would look cool i guess...

I did actually order in arms seperately...and some bits for converting....and some stuff to re-complete my Space Marine terminators....

i´d start with a clean plate... you can say for backlog refer to your blog... and then start with current work...maybe get some pics of your current models as an appetizer and then get to the main meal...i boldly started asome totally meaningless threads that i later on clad in a whole new meaning... you can change the name of the thread too ... so there is no real loss whatsover... and if you are bored of the downtrodden thread...start another one.... this is all after all just stored electricity...^^

Vik and Monkeytroll, I made my Vasily's violators using cadian torsos and ctatchan legs with SM arms. I however did not clip ithe second belt off as that gave me more space to work with for all the gear they have on, and it made them more "Heroic" sized for me.

well they will of course look totally different, but as neil recently did his more non heroic looking penial legion guys with dust tactics legs it is a thing to make them this way...maybe some tall teutonic conscripts^^

True, the Dust Tactics troops are also good, tall but well, it is only a slight difference.
