Thank you Brock for mini-modding that, was going to do that myself. I will reemphasise the point though. No more quote pyramids or airsoft talk.

When you have to put on your mini-mod hat.

When SOB think heretics are gonna burn, but think that it means that the heretics themselves will be burning. This is quite untrue. The heretics will burn, but they'll burn the Galaxy!

When Chaos fanatics think they have the slightest chance against the Emperor's fury.

When you realize you grabbed Mister Fluffy in your haste to respond to Chaos incursion of the castle, instead of a flamer which does NOT shoot cotton candy.

When you only realize that when faced with a Slaanesh-worshipper. Alone.

But who wouldn't want power?
Other than SoB, who know that all power corrupts and that all others in this forum are currently under the power of Tzeench

Everyone is a pawn, some just choose to not believe it and think they have free will. This is likely important to the plan.

Except for Nurgle, who is entropy and stagnation, and as such is opposed to change.

When you realize you haven't gotten anything for your preferred army in months.

When you realize the above is because there's nothing you could really use that you don't already have, since you don't play Apocalypse and don't like mechanized lists.

Indeed.

several warnings have been handed out, once again. If this behaviour persists then we'll either lock and/or delete the thread as well as look at longer suspensions of posting privileges for certain members.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all

Always sort of scary when you show up in threads like this.

That sinking feeling when you decide every squad leader needs to be replaced with a unique conversion.

Guys, I just got a polite warning from a moderator about the quote ladders etc.

So I guess we should stop...

Ack, just remembered. I got a Battle Sisters blister for Christmas. My last one before that was an Exorci - No, wait, went back and checked my e-mails, I ordered a pair of Sisters with meltaguns at the end of September. A few days before that, I ordered some stuff from Reaper Minis to use as proxies for Jacobus and Crusaders - so I could have an all-female army in friendly games. (I mounted them on 25mm round GW bases, of course) Before that, it was a significant chunk of minis at the end of August, including the proper Jacobus mini, 6 proper Death-Cult Assassins (one of which was miscast and I never bothered getting a replacement for) 2 proper Crusaders (to add to the 2 I already had from my Inquisitorial Retinue), and the afore-mentioned Exorcist.

Though, I may end up getting more Sisters with Meltaguns if I go back to playing larger games - right now I'm playing 750pt games because my opponent and I can finish them in less than a week of real-time.

Yeah, look up about 4 posts!

When you start to offer a Chaos Marine a hug, then realize he's a long-time worshipper of Nurgle.

You feel bad because his feelings will be hurt, but at the same time, you don't want to have to incinerate your armor, then incinerate the incinerator with a melta torpedo.

I'm continuing with my mech army from the WH codex, luckily I didn't go with Immolator spam so no Inquisition for me. Building the actual Exorcist model though...

I know that feeling.

I got it when I looked at the fluff for a character I was gonna use as a not-Saint Celestine, I was like, "Wow... This is like a total rip-off of the original. Gotta redo the whole thing."

When you realize your own custom fluff deviated more and more from its starting point as you had kept writing, until it was a complete perversion of the original idea.

As examples, the nannites went from medical technology that happened to break down Battle Sisters and other brainwashed people's mental conditioning, into a weapon actively being used to subvert Imperial armies through the use of special grenades. The Sisters of the Flame went from a faction that knew they could no longer return to their previous stations in the Imperium, but still remained faithful in the Emperor and harboring no ill will toward the Imperium, to a faction that came to hate the Ecclesiarchy and actively trying to destroy it. The Hellfire Fox's forces in general went from carefully avoiding contact with the Imperium's forces on their planet, but aiding them secretly where they could, to launching an all-out war for control of the planet. The planet itself went from a neutral place which Chaos had invaded, and the Imperium had come to fight the armies of Chaos for one reason or another., to an Imperial homeworld with a prominent Chaos infestation and the occasional Ork attack.

I used copious amounts of greenstuff on the joins as something to help the glue keep the model together, personally. Like I did with my two Penitent Engines, only for the most part the greenstuff is hidden under the plating on the Exorcist - the greenstuff on the dreadnoughts is very noticeable, even on the one that's been primed white.

The Exorcist... Well, if I dropped it, the metal pieces would probably shatter off from the chassis. And it is quite heavy, so generally when I move it from my display case to the gaming table down the hall, it's the only thing I have in my hands, and I walk nice and slow and calm. I am very cautious with it.

Yeh I have never used as much greenstuff as I have when I was working on the Exorcist, tons of gaps and tons more to go.

That sinking feeling when you army fluff is so bad it sits as only a txt file on your computer never to see day.
